Join the Museum of Russian Art (TMORA) in Minneapolis as they present their largest holiday exhibition in history - The Wintertime Carnival. Despite the heavily politicized public sphere in the country, the New Year holiday remained a non-ideological celebration that brought magic and joy to the Soviet people. Delve into the Main Gallery of TMORA and discover how a winter holiday was celebrated in a country that prohibited Christmas and other religious festivities. Alongside the exhibition, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy live music by Twin Cities Hot Club, remarks from the Curator and Executive Director, and explore all the galleries. The TMORA Shop will also be adorned with holiday splendor, offering a range of festive treats for purchase. This grand opening event takes place on Saturday, November 4, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Admission is free for TMORA Members, and tickets for adults are $14, seniors (65+) are $12, students and active military are $5, while children under 14 can enter for free.
