Early Bird Bike Tribe | 4121 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh, NC 27612: House Creek Greenway Trail - Park right behind the McDonalds in the gravel lot.
Join the Early Bird Tribe for an epic evening of play and fun while we ride the stress away under the stars!
Our night ride was so successful, we decided to ride in the morning as well.
We ride out at dawn
wearing fun clothing and bike gear
while we chat, listen to music, and leisurely take a 55-minute, 8.8-mile bike ride. It is an easy, scenic, flat ride with less than four hills (two are large at Shelley Lake - but I walk them).
Get there early to socialize and network. We will leave the parking lot around 7:00 a.m. Plenty of other riders will join us on the trail, including walkers and joggers on some occasions. Therefore, we usually ride in a semi-straight line, so some bike experience is needed. Women are
SAFE
. We see women walking alone at night.
For safety, we wear athletic shoes and clothing, helmets, and elbow and knee pads, and we advise everyone to do the same. I advise purchasing a bright white front light because it is dark riding back. We wear fun, silly outfits to match our bikes.
Bring your own water and snacks. Bikes, gear, and tools will not be provided, although we are a community and will share resources.
Children over ten are allowed as long as they are strong bike riders and have high endurance.
My number is (919) 961-0631. You can use this number until we start our ride. Please text me with any questions.
