IMPROV 400 - TUESDAY Narrative Exploration - Embracing Risk WINTER '24 is a class that aims to enhance the skills of advanced improvisers by building on the concepts learned in previous classes. The course will focus on exploring narrative and addressing individual strengths and areas that require improvement. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the value of relationships in scenes and how to incorporate theatricality. Additionally, they will delve into the use of the truthful monologue and learn how to create multi-level scenes with deep and rich characters. The class, consisting of eight Tuesday sessions, will take place at 5700 6th Ave S Suite 109 in Seattle. Attendance at the first session is mandatory, as it sets the agenda for the entire quarter. If you are unable to attend the first class, we recommend registering for the following quarter to fully benefit from the course. The class is limited to a maximum of 16 students, with a cost of $275 ($287.39 including booking fees). Prerequisite for enrollment is completion of Improv 100, 200, and 300.
