The instructor will guide you in working the clay carefully to avoid cracks during the firings. Additionally, you'll have options for glazing. All necessary materials and firings are included in the ticket price. This 2 and a half hour class ensures a personalized experience with a maximum of 8 participants. The ceramic teacher will begin by demonstrating the steps for wedging clay and throwing a cylinder. You'll also learn how to add textures or create a smoothed finish. After a few weeks, your glazed pieces will be ready to pick up. Please arrive promptly, and remember that finished pieces must be collected from the Earthworks studio within 3 months of the class.
