Mercado Art Studios (M A S) is pleased to announce the launch of a new series of classes and workshops in Hallandale Beach. One of the highlights is the "Intro To Wheel Throwing: A One-Time Pottery Class" event. This beginner class offers a unique opportunity to learn the art of pottery making while having a great time. Participants will have the chance to experience the joy of creating their own pottery pieces on a potter's wheel during the 2-hour session. The class is ideal for individuals who have always wanted to try their hand at pottery and unleash their creativity. Whether you're looking for a fun date night activity or a bonding experience with a friend, this pottery night event is not to be missed. Each attendee will receive expert guidance from an experienced instructor, who will demonstrate the techniques of centering clay, shaping vessels, and more. The $75 ticket price includes all necessary materials, such as clay, tools, and aprons, as well as the firing and glazing of your clay creations. After the class, your work will be processed in the studio, with a choice of glaze color applied and a courtesy notification sent when your creations are ready for pickup. Please note that Mercado Art Studio can store your works for up to two weeks, but unclaimed pieces will be donated after that time.
