Join the JoyRiders Beginners Plus Ride: Church St Market NW8 to Kings Cross, a fantastic opportunity for women to build their confidence in road cycling. This slow-paced women-only ride is perfect for beginners, taking place on peaceful roads and cycle paths. Meet our friendly ride leaders and connect with other like-minded women who share your passion for cycling. Departing from Westminster Wheels at 41-45 Church Street, NW8 8ES, we encourage participants who need to borrow a bike to arrive at least 15 minutes early for proper adjustments. The ride will take us along the beautiful Regent's Canal to Kings Cross, where we will stop at a local café for a well-deserved break. Please remember to bring water, snacks, money or a card for any purchases at the café, a hat, gloves for cold weather, a spare inner tube, a bike lock, and a helmet if desired. It is crucial to arrive on time, as we will set off promptly. If you are unable to attend, kindly inform us as soon as possible so we can offer your place to someone on our waiting list, as spots are limited. This ride is not a cycle lesson, and participants should already be familiar with basic cycling skills such as pedaling, braking, and steering.
