The Loudoun Symphony Youth Orchestra (LSYO) proudly presents its Winter Concert at Lightridge High School in Aldie. This highly anticipated event will showcase the exceptional talent of the LSYO's four ensembles: Prelude Strings, String Orchestra, Symphonic Orchestra, and Philharmonic Orchestra. The program will feature a captivating repertoire, including Maurice Ravel's Pavane (arr. James Ployhar), Farandole from L'Ariesienne Suite No. 2 (arr. Merle Isaac), and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade, Suite Symphonique, Op 35. The concert will be presented with brief pauses to allow the orchestras to enter and exit the stage, as well as a brief intermission before the mesmerizing performance of Scheherazade.
