Set in various locations from Salford, London, and Kent between 1900 and 1985, this poignant and bittersweet story explores four generations of women navigating the significant social changes of the twentieth century. The play delves into their aspirations, dreams, and ambitions, showcasing how these are impacted by desire, illegitimacy, careers, ideologies, and social status.
