Experience the Night of Literature in Amersfoort Central on March 23, 2024. This extraordinary event brings together acclaimed authors such as Connie Palmen, Francine Oomen, Pieter Waterdrinker, Marcel van Roosmalen, and Forugh Karimi. Immerse yourself in the richness and diversity of Dutch literature as you explore various heritage locations, including churches, pubs, and even a boat. The evening officially begins at 19:30 with the opening ceremony by the city's poet. Join us at the Eemland Library, located at 71 Eemplein, for this special moment. Afterwards, choose from a selection of lectures and activities, all starting at 20:00. There will be three rounds throughout the night, beginning at 20:00, 21:15, and 22:30 respectively. Take advantage of the 30-minute breaks between rounds to move to a different location, get a book signed, or enjoy a drink. It's important to note that a festival passe-partout grants you access to all locations, although some venues may reach capacity. If that happens, simply choose another location or wait for the next round.
