In today's world, personal protection has become a necessity, especially for women. This event, the New to Firearms November 18th - 19th Class at South River Gun Club, aims to address this need. The event will be held in Covington at the South River Gun Club located at 5205 Highway 212 N, Covington, GA 30016. From November 17th to November 19th, participants will have the opportunity to learn about Guns, Gun Safety, Conceal and Carry Laws, and Proper Gun Handling. The event is organized by an experienced NRA Certified Basic Pistol Instructor for Firearms, LLC, who has a passion for helping women overcome their fears and gain knowledge in this area. The class fee is $150, which includes 4 hours of class instruction, range rental, shooting practice with various semiautomatic handguns, eye and ear protection, targets, and ammunition. It is important to note that classes will be rescheduled if there is low participation. The event consists of two parts, with Part One being a required virtual two-hour handgun basics class on November 17th from 6pm to 8pm EST. Part Two, the Shooting Fundamentals session, will take place on either November 18th or November 19th from 9am to 11am. Participants must bring their own firearm, but if they don't have one, a loaner will be provided on the day of the event. Please note that attendees must be at least 21 years old and bring a valid driver's license or photo ID. There are no refunds for this class, but participants will have the option to attend an upcoming class if they are unable to make it.
