This captivating class offers an opportunity to learn and practice the art of portrait painting. Immerse yourself in the Halloween spirit by painting a portrait of a live model dressed as the wicked witch of the west. No prior experience is necessary, as all materials will be provided. Discover the techniques of drawing facial proportions and painting skin color while gaining an understanding of light and shadow. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced painter, this class is suitable for all skill levels. The talented art instructor, Cheryl Casden, brings a fun-loving and technique-focused teaching style to the class. She holds a Bachelors of Fine Art degree and has exhibited her work in galleries across the Midwest. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore your artistic abilities while enjoying the cozy atmosphere of CHOMP Food Hall. The 2.5-hour class will guide you through the painting process step by step, allowing you to proudly leave with a masterpiece in hand. Additionally, CHOMP offers a variety of crafted cocktails, mocktails, and delicious eats to enhance your experience. Please arrive early to get situated, and painting instruction will begin promptly at 6:30 PM. Remember to wear clothes suitable for painting, as aprons will be provided.
