Join Harriet, the creator of psychedelic ceramics, for an intimate winter gathering and guided ceramics workshop. Taking place on the 12th of January in Amsterdam-West, this event is perfect for those interested in creating their own functional and sculptural pieces. Using Harriet's unique psychedelic ceramic technique, participants will learn how to produce mesmerizing patterns of marbling using two types of clay. With a focus on slow making, this workshop encourages creative flow and connection. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced ceramic artist, all levels of experience are welcome. During the workshop, participants will explore various handbuilding techniques such as slab, coil, and pinching. All materials will be provided, but it is recommended to bring an apron or clothes that you don't mind getting clay on. While the items created can be bisque fired and used as plant pots or sculptures, they are not food safe. To ensure accessibility and inclusivity, a limited number of pay-what-you-can tickets are available.
