Join wildlife children's author Gigi Pinwill on an enchanting journey as she presents her latest book, 'Rufous the Bettong - Can’t stop scratching!’ This delightful tale follows the adventures of a little bettong who can't resist scratching his violin, and perhaps a few other things too! Gigi is a captivating storyteller, effortlessly spreading joy and smiles wherever she goes. Immerse yourself in this magical experience designed for children aged 6-11, featuring a live meet and greet with native animals. Additionally, a knowledgeable wildlife expert will be present to address any questions. It is important to note that bookings are essential for this free event. We kindly ask that individuals who are unwell or experiencing symptoms such as a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue, or shortness of breath refrain from attending. We also emphasize that maintaining social distancing is the responsibility of each attendee. The City of Charles Sturt acknowledges that the event takes place on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people and respects their spiritual connection to the land. Furthermore, we recognize the Kaurna people as the custodians of the greater Adelaide region, and their cultural and heritage beliefs remain significant to them today.
