The Run Against Breast Cancer ATLANTA event in Houston is expected to sell out quickly, with waves closing as soon as they are filled. However, if all waves are sold out, participants have the option to sign up for the virtual run. The event offers the choice of a 5K, 10K, or 21K Half Marathon, and 10% of the proceeds from the run, as well as 100% of the fundraising, will be donated to the American Cancer Society. If there are less than 7 runners registered, the run may be postponed until there are enough participants. In such cases, a virtual option will be provided for participants to practice on one of the designed courses.
