Join the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot Run in Houston, Texas, known as the Run Off the Turkey Trot 5K/10K/13.1 HOUSTON. This small, private group run offers a beautiful route through Eleanor Tinsley Park. Lace up your running shoes and join other runners and run pacers for a memorable experience. The event will take place on November 25, 2023, and features multiple waves to accommodate participants. However, spaces are limited, so be sure to secure your spot early. Prices for registration will increase every three weeks or after each wave fills up. The first 10 people to register will enjoy the best price, and prices will progressively increase for subsequent groups. The event is expected to sell out quickly, and once a wave is full, registration will be closed. If your desired wave is sold out, you can still sign up for the virtual run option or join the waiting list for future runs. Participants of all ages are welcome, and you can choose to run or walk the course. Each wave will consist of a maximum of 15 participants to ensure health, safety, and a supportive environment. A dedicated coordinator will be present if there are at least 8 runners, providing hand-timing and water/snacks. When you sign up, you're not just signing up for a run, but for a journey towards better health. Your registration includes a swag bag that will be mailed directly to you. The bag will contain a premium running shirt and either a finisher's medal or a custom mug. Additionally, you'll gain access to a virtual community of runners from around the world, offering tips, inspiration, giveaways, and ongoing challenges to keep you motivated. Choose your preferred wave start time by emailing info@thebestraces.com. Wave A begins at 7:30 AM, Wave B at 8:30 AM, and Wave C at 9:30 AM. In the event that there are fewer than 7 runners registered for a wave, the run may be postponed until there are enough participants. There is no fee for transferring to a postponed run. If all waves are sold out, you can still participate in the virtual run option or join the waiting list for future events.
