Join SambaFunk! for an exhilarating experience at the 10th Anniversary of Oakland Carnival on June 1 at Mosswood Park. Train alongside talented dancers and drummers to the beats of guest artists-in-residence Mestra Renata and Mestre Ezio from Estilo Faixa International. With a target of 40+ Dancers and 15+ Drummers, this is a community event not to be missed. Registration details include a "Super Supporter" rate of $40 until April 14, after which the General registration fee of $50 applies. Remember, the deadline to register as a Dancer or Drummer is May 5; thereafter, registration is for the Spirit Section only. Participate in weekly classes and outdoor rehearsals to perfect your skills. Key dates such as the Street Carnival Block Party on April 20 and the final Oakland Carnival on June 1 are important highlights.
