This selection of five experimental shorts takes viewers on a journey through dream-like realms and real-life situations, offering fresh insights into our shared world and endless possibilities. From the surreal to the mundane, these films use the power of dance to illuminate the artistic process, mental health struggles, and moments of interconnected joy. The program begins at 1:30 pm, with the house opening at 1:00 pm. The runtime for this captivating experience is 62 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the door for an additional $1 per ticket. Among the featured shorts is "Just Start," a collaboration between io Ermoli and Callee Egan that explores the creative journey of two young dance filmmakers. "Just Short of Reality," directed by Matt Alfano and Chad McFadden, takes a surreal approach to depict the serendipities of everyday life through dance.
