The upcoming Sport Ireland Coaching Teenage Girls Workshop in April 2024 is a 3-hour session hosted by a Sport Ireland Tutor. This workshop, a result of collaboration between various sports organizations, aims to enhance coaching skills specifically tailored for teenage girls in the sports sector. Led by experts from DCU, the workshop covers crucial modules such as Drop-out And Engagement in Girls’ Sport, Meeting the Psycho-Social Needs of Girls in Sport, Key Considerations for Coaching Girls aged 12-17, and Preparing for the Challenges of Adolescence in Girls. Participants will benefit from a range of learning resources, including pre-workshop tasks, reflective journals, coach's manuals, and Let’s Get Real tasks.
