The Sprint Duathlon, a part of Mission48's female empowerment event, will be making its 43rd stop in Vermont. This event, organized by Kelsey Lensman, aims to inspire girls and women to step out of their comfort zone and build true self-confidence. On October 13th, 2023, participants can join Kelsey and the Wilmington community for a memorable day of running and biking. This FREE event is open to people of all ages and fitness levels, but registration is required due to limited capacity.

The event will take place at a venue in Vermont, which will be announced soon. Participants are advised to arrive at 11:30am for warm-ups and a briefing on the run. The Sprint Duathlon consists of a 5k run, 20k bike ride, and another 2.5k run. However, there are scalable options available for those who prefer a shorter distance.

Mission48 has partnered with ROX, a charity that empowers young girls through self-confidence and leadership programs. The goal is to sponsor 10,000 girls for ROX programs across the US. Sponsoring a girl costs $100 and provides a 20-week program scholarship.
