The highly anticipated St Brigid Celebration Event is making its return, hosted by Fingal County Council. This exciting event promises an array of activities and workshops that will captivate attendees of all ages. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in traditional crafts, such as making St. Brigid Crosses and contributing to the growth of St Brigid's Cloak. Additionally, facepainting, storytelling, walkabout characters, and puppetry fun will be available for everyone's enjoyment. For this particular session, children and their parent or guardian can immerse themselves in two captivating workshops. The first workshop, the Craft Corner, offers a 30-minute experience where participants can design fabric pieces to contribute to the growth of St. Brigid's Cloak. The second workshop, led by Illustrator and arts facilitator Grace Haynes, focuses on Celtic drawing illustration, providing an opportunity for creativity and artistic expression. The event will be divided into time slots to ensure a smooth flow of activities. There will be a 15-minute break between the two workshops for facilitators to set up. During the event, facepainting, tea and coffee, walkabout characters, and a drop-in cross-making workshop will also be available. This event is suitable for children aged 6 and above and requires children to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please note that tickets are sold out for this event. It is important to mention that videography and photography will be taking place throughout the event. By registering for tickets, attendees confirm their consent to be filmed and photographed. Please note that if you wish to attend other activities during the St Brigid Celebration Family Day, separate bookings must be made for those events.
