Experience the art of working with stained glass at the Stained Glass Workshop Feathers, led by renowned artisan Doug Hallberg. This exclusive mega-workshop provides a comprehensive 5-hour intensive session, where participants will gain insight into the timeless process of stained glass craftsmanship. Under the guidance of instructor Doug Hallberg, students of all experience levels, aged 16 and above, will have the opportunity to create two exquisite stained glass feathers to cherish at home. In addition to the main workshop, advanced students are invited to explore their creativity further by crafting a stunning 12" clear glass window hanging adorned with bevels. Doug Hallberg, a retired NYS public school art educator and holder of an MFA from Rochester Institute of Technology, brings a wealth of expertise to the classroom. With a passion for nurturing creativity within the community, Doug established the Carriage House Art Studio in Oneonta, NY, where he has led a variety of classes, including those tailored for artists with special needs. To ensure a productive and enjoyable experience, a lunch break will be provided during the workshop. Participants may choose to bring their own lunch or explore the local restaurants in the area.
