Join the Stitch Up - Social sewing session in Reading at Jelly. This monthly meet-up provides a social environment for individuals who enjoy sewing. Drop in from 10-12pm on Tuesdays to stitch and chat with like-minded individuals. Bring your own sewing projects and share your work with the group. Whether you're into quilting, embroidery, mending, darning, or appliqué, this meet-up welcomes all types of sewing enthusiasts. Each month, there will be a prompt to inspire your stitching, and materials and tools will be available for newcomers to borrow. This lunchtime gathering is a fantastic opportunity to take a break from work and meet new people while engaging in the calming and beneficial practice of hand sewing. Please note that this adult group welcomes participants of all ages, but due to safety reasons, it is not suitable for mobile children. Biscuits will be provided, but don't forget to bring your own hot drink and lunch if desired. Thanks to the support of Berkshire Community Foundation, this event is subsidized, and donations are appreciated to help sustain the initiative.
