Discover the art of linocut printing at the Muswell Hill Creatives Make & Mend Festival in London. Led by Vanessa Hernandez of VH Prints, participants will have the opportunity to create their own custom tea towel using fabric paints. During the workshop, attendees will learn to carve a chosen design, followed by printing the design onto a tea towel. All necessary tools and materials will be provided, with the exception of aprons or old clothing recommended for protection. The workshops cater to adults, although children over 10 years old may join with a parent or guardian. Each spot is priced at £38.62, covering all materials utilized. Participants will leave with an A6 lino cutting and the printed tea towel, allowing them to continue producing prints and gifts. Taking place on March 16, 2024, at St Andrews Church Centre on Alexandra Park Road, the Make & Mend Festival promises a day filled with creativity and sustainability.
