Don't miss out on the exciting queer celebration, Unfurl, at the Multi-Arts Pavilion (MAP mima) in Speers Point, Lake Macquarie! Presented by Queer & Now and Lake Mac Arts, this event promises an unforgettable night of fun, dancing, laughter, and music from some of Australia's best queer artists. Taking place on March 30th, 2024 from 5pm-9pm, Unfurl is a must-attend event for all enthusiasts of LGBTQ+ culture. As an outdoor venue, please come prepared for any weather conditions. Whether it's a hat and sunscreen for a sunny day or an umbrella and raincoat for a wet one, don't forget to bring a positive attitude (and your loved ones) to this free and fabulous night out. Additionally, please bring your own chairs and/or picnic blankets, as seating availability is limited. Wheelchair accessibility is provided at the venue, along with flashing lights for performances. MAP mima also offers accessible parking bays and amenities for convenience. Keep in mind that parking near the Cockle Creek Boat Ramp is limited and subject to enforcement.
