The Weekly Drama Club for Young People is a fantastic opportunity for individuals aged 13-18 in Glasgow to engage in a creative and collaborative environment. Hosted by Stravaig Theatre, this drama club allows young people to express themselves and unleash their creativity on stage every week. The club offers a wide range of activities, including drama games, acting and improv games, prop making and set building, as well as the chance to gain experience with lights and sound. Participants will also have the exciting opportunity to try out filmmaking and work towards an end performance, exhibition, or film that suits their interests. Taking place every Tuesday for six months starting on October 24th, this drama club provides a safe and supportive space for young people to explore their imagination, build confidence, and make new friends. Led by experienced facilitators Scott and Emma, participants will engage in engaging activities and games that promote teamwork, communication, and self-expression. This drama club is designed for young people aged 13-18 who are seeking a positive and productive activity. It offers a welcoming environment where individuals can relax, have fun, and be themselves. The sessions begin at 5pm and run until 6.15pm, with a short cool down and reflection period at the end.
