Starting with small mark making exercises on paper, students will then progress to larger paintings on canvas and Yupo Paper. The workshop will cover a range of topics including composition, principles of design, and the use of color, texture, and shape. Please note that the workshop will be held on three separate dates: October 12th, October 13th, and October 19th, from 10:30am to 1:30pm. It is recommended that participants attend all three days to fully benefit from the workshop. All materials will be provided except for an 18” x 24” or 24” x 24” canvas. Throughout the workshop, Karen Salup will guide participants through various techniques and demonstrations, helping them to develop their artistic skills and explore their creativity.
