Join artist Esther Maxwell-Orumbie at the Bethlem Gallery in Beckenham for an exciting lino cutting and printing workshop. This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the opening of our annual Art Fair. Esther Maxwell-Orumbie, a talented artist who specializes in linocut printing, drawing, and textiles, will lead participants through the traditional process of designing and carving a small lino block. The carved design will then be printed onto fabric, creating a unique one-off print or repeated pattern. During the workshop, participants will also have the chance to learn more about Esther's art and hear her insights about her creative process. Please note that under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. We offer concessions for SLaM service users, individuals over 60, students, people receiving ESA, people registered disabled, and their carers. Additionally, we occasionally take photos at our workshops to share on social media. If you prefer not to appear in any photos, please inform the facilitator. If you are unable to attend the workshop, kindly contact us to cancel your place. We often have a waiting list, so notifying us in advance would be greatly appreciated.
