This is especially convenient for business travelers, and anyone who wants to minimize travel time. Typically, airport hotels are seen as accommodations with very minimal amenities. This 573-room Marriott hotel has quite a few: a restaurant and bar, a coffee shop, a lounge, a health center, a sundry shop, a conference center, and even a saltwater pool!

Due to the airport’s large size, there is an inter-terminal train that will take passengers where they need to be to catch their flight. Missed the train? No problem! It conveniently runs every 3 minutes from 3:30 AM to 12:30 AM daily.

Those planning on driving while in Houston can conveniently rent a car at the airport’s Rental Car Center. It is only a 5-minute shuttle ride away from the IAH terminals. Shuttles depart every five minutes.


How to Get from IAH to Downtown Houston?

Whether you rented that car or not, you should be able to easily navigate from the airport to downtown Houston. IAH is located 23 miles north of downtown Houston, Texas.

Passengers’ luggage may be stored in the baggage compartment accessed from the outside of the bus, but you have to lift it on yourself, as there is no luggage assistance. Those interested in catching the METRO bus can hop on at IAH’s Terminal C.
