A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for Los Angeles County beaches until 2 PM PDT today, alongside a Beach Hazards Statement active until 5 PM PDT. High tides peaking around 7.2 feet will likely cause minor to moderate coastal flooding in low-lying areas. Dangerous rip currents and elevated surf present significant drowning hazards, with waves capable of washing people off rocks and beaches or capsizing small boats.
