“Marvel” Standard Room
Staying in the Marvel room at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel was such a fun and immersive experience — perfect for both kids and big fans of superheroes! The moment we walked in, we were greeted by superhero-themed décor everywhere: from the wall art showing the Avengers, to the little “now showing” movie-style marquee on the nightstand, to the themed pillows, the curtains that completely block out light, and even a water dispenser unlike many standard hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, and the room felt cozy yet full of playful details that made us smile.
The hotel overall felt like a mini Hollywood-movie set with vintage Art Deco touches + Marvel flair — it was charming, fun, and definitely different from a regular hotel stay. It was a great base after a full day at the park, and the easy shuttle access to and from the park made things really convenient.
Some things to note: the bathroom was a bit compact (so if you’re traveling with 4 people it might feel tight), and there isn’t a big dresser under the TV — so unpacking feels a bit basic. But honestly, the themed atmosphere, comfort, and overall vibe totally made up for it. We’d happily stay again — especially if we visit Hong Kong Disneyland with kids or fellow Marvel fans!

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic, less than 5 minutes from the park using the free shuttle offered by the hotel. The character breakfast was such a magical experience, and the hotel is also within walking distance of the other Disney hotels, which made everything super convenient. It truly felt like a full Disney immersion from start to finish. An incredible experience that I highly recommend!

Overall, I was quite satisfied with the hotel, except for having to purchase a toothbrush set. The environment was quiet and comfortable, and the facilities were well-maintained. The backyard view was a hidden gem – few people, ocean views, a lawn, and banyan trees. It's an easily overlooked but great spot for photos. The shuttle service was frequent, making it convenient to go back and forth to the theme park, and the schedule was easy to manage.

The Disney's Hollywood Hotel is the most affordable among the three Disney hotels. The furnishings and amenities are pretty much on par across all of them, so it really comes down to your preferred decor style. It has a convenient and large swimming pool that's great for a good swim.

“Mickey And Friends” Standard Room
Location is convenient as it has a free shuttle bus with short frequency to disneyland. I had a late check in, but had to push my luggages up myself, for the price paid the service weren’t as attentive. Do note that that toothbrush and toothpaste are not complimentary as well
