"There will be a bar below the hotel. There will be a band singing from 8:00 to 11:00 in the evening. In fact, the sound is quite loud, which will have a certain impact on people who fall asleep. The room is very large. We arrived at 5:00 on the day of check-in. The hotel has not been cleaned. This is a very bad stay experience. Normally, we can check in at 3:00, we waited for two or three more hours outside,"

AAnonymous UserService provided by Ginta was excellent! Initially we were assigned to a room on the 3rd floor, which would have been impossible for us as there was no elevator and we had two big luggages. Ginta was very helpful and accommodating to our request, she called her manager and helped us to change rooms to the first floor.
We also had to leave early by 7:30am the next day for a tour, but breakfast officially only starts at 7:30am. Ginta helped to arrange and ensure we had breakfast before we left.
Location is great, less than a 5 minute walk to bus stop #8 and Hallgrimskirkja church. It was also easy to walk to Rainbow street, Laugavegur and other attractions.
GGuest UserEach floor has a bathroom, and the kitchen is very well-equipped with pots, pans, and all sorts of utensils, plus a dishwasher. I even put my own bowl in to wash and forgot to take it out! I didn't have breakfast, but it smelled really good. It's quite close to the bus terminal; there's an underpass. On the first day, I got a bit lost and had to go around in circles to find it. Just a heads-up, remember to bring your own disposable slippers!
GGuest UserMaybe it is my fault for expecting hotels in Iceland to have little to no, if not relatively poor service as a whole, but my booking issues with them, the communication leading up to the stay and overall interaction with staff was next to none, Save for the on-site staff that I got to bump into, it's pretty much non-existent.
The Booking itself, alongside a mistake with the app, and the hotel refusing to offer direct communication, and lying throughout the whole ordeal when it came to ”calling back” was literal hell. That being said the say was, fine? It's a place to rest, that's all I can say. The breakfast was definitely pathetic, but like the first statement it might've been my fault for expecting something substantial,.
Definitely don't get the breakfast, don't use the hot coffee/cocoa machine since it's broken or unfilled half the time. Seek out amenities at the grocery stores nearby instead.
GGuest UserThis apartment is in a perfect, central location in downtown Reykjavík, within easy walking distance of the BSI bus station and all the major city sites. The room was impressively big and clean, and we were even pleasantly surprised by an automatic upgrade to a three-bedroom unit. One of the biggest advantages for those with a rental car is the free parking available right around the building. While there is no kitchen or cooking facility, which might be a drawback for longer stays, it was perfectly fine for our short visit. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable base in the city.
HHimynameisalexPerfect location for a quick stop in Reykjavik. It’s not the cleanest of places (kitchen sink and stove was a bit dirty, but hey… what do you expect? It’s very clean compared to other hostels/hotels with shared kitchens like this!) but still worth every penny. I’d go there again any time. They do have a cozy library. All in all I really do like the vibe of the place 🫶🏻
IIvan仔He is on the westernmost side of Reykjavik, the independent house has a slanted roof and windows, and if you are lucky, you can watch the aurora. Unfortunately, the wind and rain that night we stayed, the weather in Iceland was really changed.
GGuest UserThere was a very servicey Brazilian boy, he attended you every hour and searched for answers to all the answers. He makes cakes and gives conversation. That was loved! The house is very pleasant!
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and clean, shared bathroom was also clean. Good spread for buffet breakfast and good amenities to use in this guesthouse. There was a strict check in at 3pm but the host let us wait in the waiting area when we arrived at 2:30. It has nearby bus stop but everything is walking distance if you brace the weather.
SSiu hinThe location of the room is very good and very close to the cathedral. There is breakfast every morning, but you have to cook your own breakfast. If I remember correctly, the time is between 7 and 9. A very typical European breakfast of bread, eggs, and milk. The staff are very nice.
MM9367****I didn't have high hopes for this hotel, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise!
The location is fantastic; the church is right outside the door, and I was so excited to be staying so close to it when I first arrived.
There's free parking available at the entrance, but it's first-come, first-served.
I stayed for two nights, and even though the bathrooms are shared, everyone kept them very clean.
The main building has a stove and microwave on the third floor, so you can cook your own meals, and there are shared pots and utensils available.
