"Okay hostel for one or two night(s). Staff at reception is friendly & speaks English. Pool has no water & WiFi was not always stable. Not very well cleaned - my kettle had ants in it (see photo)."

MMatthew BerridgeThis was a very pleasant stay, it's a well maintained guest house with large spacious rooms. The staff were helpful and sold water by the reception. It is located well in the town with plenty of access to cafes and restaurants. The pool is situated a short walk from the guest house which is a very lovely space to hang out and cool off. The bathroom functioned well with a good shower, however there was some mould on the ceiling. The room had yellow curtains which did allow for a fair amount of light through in the morning which some may find disturbing. I would definitely recommend staying here!
GGuest UserVery very nice room. It has everything like fridge, kettle, fan and ac. It also has a balcony with a cooking area and centrally located. It was lovely to have a driver at the bus station standing with a sign with my name on it. He carried my bags up the steps to my room and during my stay he did me a tour of the countryside which was very good.
I paid extra for the upgraded upstairs room and I think it was worth it , though I didn’t see the rooms downstairs.
I think it is cheaper to pay online. However, the guesthouse allows you to pay by card.
GGuest User”We absolutely loved our time here! The setting is stunning—right next to the rice fields, which provided a beautiful backdrop every morning. The kids had a blast in the swimming pool while we relaxed nearby.
Having the restaurant on-site was so convenient. The meals were authentic and tasty, and it was great to enjoy dinner without having to drive anywhere. The peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we needed. A perfect getaway!”
GGuest UserLovely hotel consisting of a few 2 floor buildings within wild garden and water features.
Staff were great and helpful.
The food was excellent with a choice of western or Khmer cuisine.
The room was large, welcoming and tastefully furnished with good shower/toilet facilities.
I would definitely return if the opportunity arose
GGuest UserAn incredibly kind and hospitable family who makes everything possible! From local dishes to a 5:45 AM scooter ride for sunrise, a coffee shop tip, and even a small cooking class. You simply have to stay here if you're visiting Banan!
