GGuest UserFirst the positives: the location is very beautiful, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, and the staff are friendly. I was able to order dinner at the restaurant which was tasty. The location is also safe.
Cons: this BnB serves as a wedding venue (which is exquisite); however, the BnB should not allow private individuals to book a room if there is a wedding going on. I chose this BnB to be close to the airport but didn’t get a wink of sleep as the wedding party carried on into the early hours and the rooms were not soundproof at all.
I especially booked this BnB as it advertised that it had an airport shuttle. However, I was disappointed to learn that actually the BnB itself does not do this - they call a shuttle service which charges a ridiculous R600 for a 20 minute ride to the airport!

GGuest UserWe arrived late and had some trouble getting in the gate but as soon as I emailed and my husband honked the gates opened. We were greeted at the door and were helped with our bags. Was a beautiful home and we were in a double room for me my husband my step daughter her fiancé and one year old daughter so a bit squishy but slept the night very well in comfy beds. We had to leave early and they let me use their kitchen to make smoothies for my husband and I. My step daughter and her little family stayed for the breakfast which they enjoyed, very sweet little dining room, lovely communal areas to gather in. We found ourselves the only ones using these. Would be very happy to return if ever passing through the bay again.

MMsNikitaBeautiful place, it is very quiet and peaceful. I loved the sea view😍. The room is very clean and spacious, very friendly staff, always there to help. Breakfast was very delicious, many options to choose from, this guest house is close to many restaurants and party places, this is a huge bonus, very convenient, I highly recommend. Whether you want a peaceful stay of you want to be out and about, this is definitely the right place to book😉❤️

GGuest UserWE WENT THERE TO CELEBRATE OUR 56TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. OLD BUILDING BUT EXCELLENT AMBIANCE AND NICE SHADED PARKING. THE ROOM WAS HUGE AND THE SHOWER WAS GOOD WITH NICE HOT WATER. THE BEST PART OF OUR STAY WERE THE EXCELLENT DINNERS WITH STEAK THE FIRST NIGHT AND LAMB CHOPS THE SECOND NIGHT COOKED TO PERFECTION. LOVELY THREE COURSE MEAL.
WE FURTHER ENJOYED OUR OUTING TO THE SPIOENKOP BATTLEFIELD WHICH IS ABOUT 30KMS FROM THE LODGE.

SShur JothamThe hotel rooms are big and spacious. bathroom has an amazing shower and bathtub. the game drive was also an amazing experience to be up close and personal with the animals. no touching animals but Our guide Lonely, got us as close as he could. The braai area is off limits from 6pm but the manager allowed us to braai from later on as we only got back from the game drive at 6pm

FFritz08I love this place. It is simple and clean. Nice they have tables and chairs outside by the pool to chill at night. Location is great! It is near Florida Rd. So this place is surrounded by restaurants. The staff is super friendly. I forgot to take photos of the room. The room is clean and I love the room design. Great value for money too! Will definitely go back.

FForestflylinGreat place to stay! We stayed here for 3 days. Its right on the sea with a beautiful view. The staff is so friendly and helpful. There is a great little restaurant and bar just downstairs with fantastic food. The room was clean peaceful and comfortable. I’ll definitely come stay here again.

MMiss thangHad a comfortable stay, I only stayed for 1 night as I had an early flight the next morning. The place is clean and the beds comfortable. They provide a shower gel/body wash and bath towels. The only issue was the toilet which made a whistling noise.

JJai GaultierConveniently located near stores and service station. The room was okay, for a 3 star establishment, I must admit I expected the staff to at least speak English well and the the room to be dust free. The bathroom is tiny and rather claustrophobic.

GGuest UserIn addition to perfection, I don't know how to say it. The owner is a pair of elderly parents in their 70s, polite and very happy. I lived for more than ten years before Joburg. I renovated this manor in 2002. It was very beautiful, quiet and comfortable, Umhlanga.
