|0.64km from city centerThe hotel is elegant and classic, the rooms are clean, and the front desk service is good. It is a 15-minute walk from the White House. The location in the center of Washington is super good. I will choose this hotel next time I go to Washington. I recommend it.

|3.99km from city centerNice big hotel, but not the cleanest. Found several different hairs in the shower, bathroom and by the bed that weren’t mine and they were different colors. Bed was comfy and the gym was really good (new, huge and clean), because it’s a private gym for people who live in the luxury building across the street. Check-in staff were friendly :).

The hotel also has children’s play corner and our grand daughter had so much fun!

|0.85km from city centerThe room is clean and tidy, a few minutes walk to the White House. From the airport, take the Silver Line subway to get there directly. It costs only 4 US dollars, and the subway card can still be recharged. Within 5 minutes walk from the subway station. You can also take a direct bus at that subway station to go to the Capitol, the Natural History Museum and other places. The transportation is really convenient. In the lobby, you can get coffee, tea, and boiled water by yourself at any time. Very satisfying experience,

Ivy City / Gallaudet
Washington D.C.
|3.45km from city centerThis hotel is simply fantastic. The description is not too much, booked for a twin room. We needed to stay in Washington for one more night due to insufficient time. We booked a hotel temporarily. The price of a night stay in the hotel was too expensive, and we didn't want to be too far away from the Union station. After the hotel was moved here, the little black brother at the front desk gave check-in directly, very surprised, and gave them a big praise! There is a 24-hour free hot coffee on the first floor, there is a small snack bar, and the snack bar is also equipped with a microwave. The hotel is very clean, entered the room, bigger surprises, the beds are large, each single bed can sleep 2 people, the pillows are also prepared for the standard of 2 people per bed, everything in the bathroom is 4 For personal standard preparation, all toiletries are Neutrogena, and two sets are provided directly. The rooms have microwaves and refrigerators, and the beds are comfortable.
There is a free shuttle bus between the hotel and Union station, every 30 minutes, and the driver also told us that we can take a red circle auto at the station and said that as long as the fare is a knife, the route map of the car was returned, it was beautiful because we were yesterday Take 3 subways per person and 1 knife to get a bus card. After we got on the bus, because we put in coins and the banknotes couldn't get in, the driver took it in. When I got back, I was about to insert a coin. The driver simply blocked the coin slot and said no. Breakfast is okay, at least not worse than breakfast outside, and there are fruits, juices, eggs, toasts, which meet my needs for breakfast. This hotel is highly recommended, and it is highly recommended for anyone who comes to Washington for fun. If I come again, I will definitely book this hotel directly. It is really great. The waiter Xiao Hei also likes to communicate with you in Chinese. Oh yes, the hotel also has a swimming pool and gym, which is free for guests.

|5.71km from city center🍃It is very convenient to book a hotel on Ctrip. I am passing by and staying in Washington for one night. I am not sure whether this area is safe or not. Anyway, it is OK to sleep for one night. Apart from being close to a highway or an elevated intersection, it is quite noisy at night. There are many American-style hotels. Unique high decibel music🎵😂
🌟Checking in is easy and requires credit card pre-authorization. There is parking space in front of the hotel. Even though it was late at night, there were still some people coming in and checking in. The hotel lobby provides coffee, tea, etc. 24 hours a day, which is a common feature of American hotels.
🍴The breakfast is more American-style, and it is relatively rich. It includes various types of bread, bagels🥯, yogurt, scrambled eggs, cereals, fruits, etc. The next day, I found that there were quite a lot of people staying. Breakfast is made up quite frequently.
🏠The room facilities are quite normal, suitable for one night's sleep ~ For traveling, if you leave early and come back late, it's fine if you can sleep well.

Penn Quarter
Washington D.C.
|1.22km from city centerBefore returning to China yesterday, I chose to stay at the Grand Hyatt Washington. The overall experience has highlights, but there are also some unsatisfactory aspects.
When I walked into the hotel lobby, the first feeling was that it was open and bright, and the space was very spacious. There was no crowded feeling of people coming and going in other hotels. I felt comfortable and comfortable walking inside. The check-in speed was also very fast. The staff will kindly hand over an introduction paper, which clearly marked the hotel's various service facilities and precautions. It was convenient and practical, and the favorability was instantly full.
However, when I walked into the assigned room, my mood suddenly dropped. This time I was arranged in a corner. The layout of the room was a bit strange, and the lighting was not ideal, giving people a sense of depression. The bathroom was even more ”disaster area”. The space was very small, and the sanitary conditions were worrying. There were still other people's hair in the washbasin, which instantly made me question the hotel's sanitation management. I thought that five-star hotels would achieve the ultimate in hygiene, but I didn't expect such a problem to occur. It was really disappointing.
There are also some unhumane aspects in the check-in process. Other five-star hotels can check in by themselves as long as they can make a successful reservation on the Ctrip platform, but here, adults aged 21 and above must assist to complete the check-in procedure, which undoubtedly adds a lot of trouble for guests traveling alone or whose companions do not meet the age requirements.
However, the hotel's porter service is remarkable. They are enthusiastic and quick, and they actively help to carry luggage and patiently answer my questions along the way. I can really feel the hotel's professional service quality from them, which is also one of the few warm moments in this imperfect stay experience.
I hope the hotel can improve the room allocation, hygiene management and check-in process, and I believe this will bring guests a better accommodation experience.

Dupont Circle
Washington D.C.
|0.79km from city centerI stayed two nights on a business trip, and overall it was great. The front desk staff is warm and welcoming, and helped me with a few things throughout the stay. The lobby's nothing special - just a desk and a few steps to the elevator, and there's an underlying smell from the gas heat. The rooms themselves are great. Spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed, and I was given a room facing the back of the hotel so it was very quiet (I'll always choose quiet over view). There's a Welcome Hour every evening from 5-6 where you can get a glass of wine/beer or cocktail for free, which is a nice touch, and there are water refill (still or sparkling!) and ice stations on every floor. Overall, it was a great stay.

|0.87km from city centerThere is no breakfast, but there are quite a few meals downstairs and around. There are two bedrooms, a living room and a sofa bed, which should be able to live with a family. I didn't know the parking situation without driving. A few steps away is the White House, and the surrounding environment is very good. Would highly recommend to friends who want to go to Washington to play.

|1.06km from city centerThe location is good and the rooms are good. However, when I asked what the destination fee was at checkout (it was a polite question), the black woman at the reception was very rude and told me that it was originally included, and she got angry at me and my husband, asking if I didn't read it when making a reservation, which was embarrassing. Another man came to explain and my curiosity was answered, but I was not in a good mood about the trip that day. The day before, another Marriott hotel was very friendly, so I was even more surprised. This was my first experience like this while staying at an American hotel, so it was perceived as racial discrimination. I will never use it again.

NoMa / Sirsum Corda

|2.88km from city centerThe hotel is located fairly near Union station, however there is a massive problem with homeless people hanging around outside. Overall, the rooms are clean if not a little dated. We had a question over credit card charges. Our family booked the room online with Trip and the hotel preauthorised our card $340 dollars, on arrival charged $200 dollars deposit and then took a further $190 for some reason until o removed the authority on the card. A two night stay is equal to $740 dollars while we wait for refunds. The hotel could do more to make sure dangerous homeless do not wait around outside, and when there was a problem in my last night outside the security disappeared. If you want a bolt hole in Washington DC this is okay, for a family friendly environment due to problems outside and charging issues this is not the place to visit

|4.38km from city centerThere are many rental apartments nearby, mainly for children to study abroad. The hotel is very close to the Anacostia River in Washington, D.C., and there is an open park by the river. The hotel provides free bottled water in the refrigerator at the front desk every day, and no one checks the card for breakfast. The room has an induction cooker and an apartment-style workbench, but no windows that can be opened. The streets are wide and clean, worthy of being the capital. White people can be seen walking leisurely with their dogs from time to time, unlike the narrow streets in Seattle where black homeless people can be seen on the street corners from time to time. The sense of security here has increased.

|2.3km from city centerIt's an old hotel, but the two-king-bed suite is really comfortable. It has a spacious living room, desk area, dining space, balcony, entrance area, and a wraparound balcony that you can go out. You can imagine the sense of form of a good hotel decades ago. The outdoor pool is lovely in the summer. The location is great! It is very close to the zoo and the very quiet and beautiful Rock Creek Park. There are also many restaurants in the Woodley Park area, and it is a 5-10 minute walk from the subway station. Good value for money! The service is average, and the front desk staff on different shifts don't seem to have smooth handovers with each other. They changed us to a single-bed suite midway. The room was much smaller. The mattress on the sofa bed was a bit too bad to sleep on. Please update some of the old furniture in time!
