Cambria is a newer hotel amidst the redevelopment projects taking place near Rainey Street, a historic landmark of homes turned into entertainment venues. Cambria is opposite side of the spectrum with innovative decor and relaxation. Note that parking costs 49USD per day with valet access only. We chose not to rent a car based on our needs in Austin. Came to visit my son and his family with my eldest son, so we wanted to have some options near nightlife activities. Local drivers shared info on the changes made to the nearby historic street, and staff was friendly with all needs. The water statiins were a plus. Where I think Cambria can improve is in the price of the rooms, menu items and operation hours of their lobby bar/roof bar since staff was short during our stay. Walking to the entertainment street required the back alley short trek, and that aspect took away from the lush atmosphere of the hotel. Grafitti and Limestone hotel venues can easily adjust their marketung strategies towards in-house entertainment along with the Valet arrangement to flow more smoothly and affordably. It’s a lovely hotel which can become full circle staycation with a few adjustments regarding that aspect. New business developments working alongside grass roots businesses is key to smooth changes for both visitors and long-time locals. The pool atmosphere is great, the gym is clean, and the first floor waiting area an easy meeting spot.

The room's AC was inconsistent, difficult to find the right temperature. The room we had was right behind the elevators so it was hard to sleep hearing them going nonstop til 3am. The bathroom was also extremely dark and hard to even see yourself in the mirror.

We loved staying here! It was my first time in Austin, and the hotel is close to everything. You can drive or walk to different places. The beds were super comfortable! It was also cool to have a kitchenette inside the room, with glassware, a refrigerator, microwave, and utensils that are essential to us. Service is topnotch as well. The only downside is that their walls are pretty thin. We could hear our neighbor talking and watching TV. I suggest bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, just in case!

It is a hotel with a good cp value. There is a kitchen in the room, and the pots and pans are quite complete. There is also breakfast, which can be taken back to the room and eaten by business people. It is very convenient for families with children to live in; It is very comfortable to have a swimming pool. I was extremely upset to see a movie with nudity and a scene of a nude man and a woman having sex (AKA porn) on the lobby / breakfast room television. I was even more upset when after asking the the manager, Diana, to change the channel she came into the area and I instead of just changing the channel to something more appropriate, asked the man seated behind me if it was okay for her to change the channel as if something like that was up for a vote among guests instead of hotel policy. To say I was angry at the way she mis-handled this would be an understatement . Despite the fact I stayed at this Hampton at least a half dozen times last year or so , I won’t be returning. Keep porn off public televisions and teach managers how to deal with matters of corporate policy would be my suggestion Hampton/Hilton. Otherwise the location is good and the rooms are clean. Too bad they allow unclean programming to be played on their television in the public area. Thankfully no children were in there at the time this occurred.

The hotel is not far from the airport but the environment is quiet. There is a free breakfast downstairs which is very good. The hygiene is good and the price/performance ratio is acceptable. I will consider staying there again on my next business trip.

We had a 1 night stay in Austin and decided to try the W. It was a great choice, room was nicely decorated and roomy. I appreciated the small details like apples and water in the lobby. My favorite space was the lounge area with the massive vinyl record collection and that fireplace!

Consistently lovely hotel with consistently good service. The juevos rancheros I ordered and had delivered to my room were incredibly good! And the coffee was nice and strong ….. glad I asked for extra cream and sugars ! Great location near the Arboretum stores and shops at the Domain . Also close to Whole Foods, H‑E‑B grocery store, Gateway movie theater, and lots of good restaurants, many within walking distance.. Large rooms, bathroom stocked with Aveda products. (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap for hands) was a very nice touch! The only thing I didn’t like was they have recently started charging for self parking in their uncovered lot ….. I paid $20 on 1/31/24. I don’t like that at all. Just put the price in your room rate and say free parking!

Very good motel, there is a candle scent as soon as you enter, the front desk communicates very well, the bedding is very clean and the pillows are very comfortable. Air conditioning is the biggest highlight. It is the only hotel in the United States that has almost no odor during the half-month trip. The toilet is bright and clean, the faucet has no water stains, the towels are clean and free of foreign objects, and the cabinets are full of amazing equipment. There is popcorn that can be heated directly. Overall it's great (ps: I've lost money from a nearby hotel) If you see this, you can book directly if the budget is right, and it won't let you down.

Friendly clean modern. Room was very pleasant. My only negative was the hours of cafe and bar. I couldn’t get a cup Of coffee at 10am. Plus couldn’t get wine at 10pm. I’m traveling far. Just saying. Maybe if ur going to close the cafe offer free coffee.
