The room was ok, we upgraded the family room. The lighting is also very good, I was nervous before ordering, but later I found it was pretty good. Breakfast is a set meal, but rich in content. Very close to the night market. It's just that when I left, I don't know why the waiter looked unhappy. Overall it is still very good. The hotel was changed later, the lighting was not good, and the stay was uncomfortable.

The price was reasonable and affordable. Although it's an older building, the room was renovated and quite spacious. The man at the counter was friendly and always there; his dedication was admirable, and leaving my luggage there felt safe. The location was also excellent, close to the river and night markets, making it a great base for exploring Krabi Town. However, perhaps due to the age of the building, there was a slight musty smell in the room, and the Wi-Fi was sometimes intermittent. But for this price, there's really no reason to complain!

Can't really comment much on what it was like inside. The lobby had some good amenities for you to prepare food and coffee. But we booked 3 bunk beds for 6 people and we're told on arrival that we only booked 3 beds for 3 people so we didn't get to stay. They did offer a full refund. Which I am waiting on receiving.

Blu Monkey was an unexpected surprise in the laid-back town of Krabi! The staff were super professional and helpful! Our room was ready on time - triple pod, and they helped us hire a bike. The reception serves gifts, drinks and ice cream and the pool area has free drinks, snacks and bananas 24 hours! We tried out the gym, and the sun loungers at the pool were great. Next door is an amazing Italian restaurant- proper! Opposite is a typical market with a range of foods and fruits. A short walk up the road gets you to the river with stunning views, and another market with music and good vibes. Definitely a must-book for travelers! My only negative comment is that the hotel stipulates no kids, but there were two crying toddlers which kinda broke the silence 🙈

Good value for money, although not coastal, but the hotel's sudden car can take a few minutes to the beach. The room is clean, as long as you don't eat in the room, you won't be tempted. Do not provide disposable dental equipment, you need to bring your own. There is a small table and a clothes rack on the balcony, which is very convenient. For breakfast, order a staple food (you can choose from a variety of sandwiches, seafood porridge, omelettes), toast and fruit, and coffee is instant. The variety is not particularly large, but it can guarantee nutrition and fullness.

The hotel is a good price and the deluxe premier room with a balcony tub is wonderful. As with any 5 star resort hotel, it’s further out of town and grab/taxi takes a while to get but you can schedule in advance. Food in the hotel is good. Lots of choice. Slightly on the pricier side but still not too bad. Spa and massage is very expensive (for Thailand massage price) so we have that a miss. 2,000 thb head massage for 60min. Bangkok would be half of that. This includes happy hour 10-2pm 30% discount. Full body 3k. But having a jacuzzi on the balcony of the room was very worth it. Breakfast is great. Would I say here again? Yes! Is it 5 star? Yes! Is it value for money? Yes! Just be prepared for longer travel distance and time and slightly more expensive food and drinks and spa. P.s. it’s on the beach directly!! A smaller boutique 5* resort. Pools are nice and overall resort didn’t feel crowded.

Stay Dates: 13 – 16 September 2025 We stayed at Ananta Burin Resort and had a great experience overall! The resort is very kids-friendly — the highlight for us was the pool area with water slides, which kept the children happily entertained. The size of the resort is just right — not too big and not too small — making it easy to manage with kids. We booked connecting rooms for our group of four, which worked perfectly. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. The only hiccup was on our last day when the whole building had no water supply, so we couldn’t shower before checking out (a funny memory now!). Location: The resort is slightly away from Ao Nang Beach and the main street market, but still accessible. Tuk-tuk rides are easy to get and cost around 100 THB, which was convenient. Massage & Spa: Like most places in Thailand, finding a good massage isn’t an issue — there are plenty of shops next to each other near the hotel, and the massages were great! Overall, I’m happy with our stay and would recommend Ananta Burin Resort to families looking for a kid-friendly, comfortable place in Krabi.

A wonderful hotel. I liked everything very much. We lived on the top floor with a view of the pool and the mountain. You could see the sea a little. The pool is very elegant. Every morning the staff cleans it and collects leaves and flowers that have fallen into the water. There are sun loungers and umbrellas. The bartender can make coffee if you want, make a cocktail, bring beer, etc. etc. The room is a bit dark, but this is normal for Thai hotels. The windows are clean. The bed linen is excellent. White. The towels are perfectly white. The girls made compositions out of them every morning. There are slippers, robes (not terry). Cleaning every day, good, the floor is clean. There is a safe in the room. The breakfasts are typical for Thailand. The restaurant at the hotel - a calm atmosphere, unobtrusive music, they cook deliciously - I recommend it. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the boat parking lot that takes you to clean beaches and excursions. The sea on Ao Nang beach is absolutely not suitable for swimming. To sum it up - the hotel is excellent. Thanks to the staff for the excellent service.

We have made with 2 different name for our booking, during check in there is some problem with the booking that have been made, room that we have booked suppose to be 3 person and when check in it only show for 2 person each, we have to add extra 700bath per night for two person, which are not the problem since, we didn't know how its happen. The problem start with the old lady at the counter (Wearing Glasses) that are very rude, during trying to sort the problem happen, she are not fluent in English but every time trying to talk to the others person she will interfere and making thing hard to everyone. She event start to question person that came into the main entrance which are from ours group member during we check the room condition, she should be change her attitude since she represent the customers and handling guest,

Pros: -  hotel location not bad. Within short walking distance to 7-11, restaurants and massage salons  -  book islands tour through hotel and they offered better deals -  room is reasonably clean. Housekeeper did a good job.  Cons: -  Asking for 2nd room key card (we are couple and my husband was asleep when I went for my early morning breakfast). Do not wish to wake him up and I was told that it is hotel policy and only 1 room 1 card key is given. For 2nd room key, you need to place a deposit of Thai baht 200.  In despite it is so called refundable, but why they making it difficult for their in house guest? I have never came across any hotels required deposit for extra room key. Moreover it was 2 of us, totally reasonable to ask for 2 keys.  -  each beach towel deposit Thai Baht 100.   -  hotel swimming pool is always crowded  -  borrow an adapter required deposit of Thai Baht 200 -  no tooth brush and tooth paste. If the hotel is charging at more than $200 a night, they should be able to provide tooth brush when the guest asked. -  no in door slipper which is ok but it would be good if they could provide  -  walking distance  10 to 15 mins to the public beaches.  There are many other hotels right across the beaches offered about the same room rates  In a nutshell, this hotel provide very basic. Not worth the price.

Location is nice, a short walk to Ao Nang beach and plenty of stalls nearby. The facilities and amenities is not so good, could use a good renovation. Can find a better place for around the same price. The room isn't quite ideal for stay, only has limited power plug which is behind the TV (luckily staff was nice to lend us extension). The door to the room was glass so during the night and morning time, the light was shining in (no curtain to block the light). Break was just a normal fried eggs with toasts. All in all, there are probably better place or the same price.

The hotel's infrastructure is a bit old, but it is located near Ao Nang Night Market, and there is a large 711 and beach within 300 meters of walking distance. Due to the nature of the beachside accommodation, the room sometimes got soggy, but the cleanliness was the best and the food that could be ordered by room service was delicious. We stayed in a room with a pool, and when we saw the hotel staff manage the water quality in the morning, we could see how the pool water was so clear. And when we arrived at the hotel, we were able to easily order anything with the app we had installed. We stayed at this hotel for the first time in 2013 and the second time in 2025. Nothing has changed much, and we were happy with our stay. Pros: - the guy with the cart who delivers guests' luggage from the pier to the hotel helped us a lot, we arrived with suitcases and bags, it was hard to walk in the heat, he also helped us get to the pier on the way back - it's free, - it's not far to walk from the Tonsai pier, not far from the sea on the other side of the island, I advise you to walk to the fire show just to the left of the hotel and along the shore, - they gave us a spacious three-bed room, with a comfortable large double bed and a wide 1.5 double bed, the bathroom is freshly renovated, the shower has good pressure of warm water, gel, shampoo, everything is there. - beach towels and towels for the pool can be taken from the souvenir seller on the first floor, they are freely available, without an appointment. - the pool is quite large, but chlorinated, because the hotel has a large flow of tourists every day - monkeys came to visit us on the balcony, although it is written that you can't feed them, but it is very interesting to look at them up close Cons: - every day a huge flow of tourists comes from one-day excursions for lunch, these are crowds in the dining room, 300-500 people by the feel - the 7-11 minimarket is far away, others are closer, but there is no alcohol and the prices are a little more expensive, - there is a lot of food in the dining room, but everything is not particularly tasty, cold potatoes and eggs, but fruits, pastries, vegetables are always available.
