After styling and art directing photo shoots for Rejuvenation Lighting and House Parts, finally being able to dial our own place was like playing in a sandbox. Joyfully styled bedrooms include queen, queen-sized sleeper in living room, and twin hide-a-bed in the study (that can be made into a queen). The kitchen is fully appointed with All-Clad, gas range, Cuisinart, blender and microwave. And, should you decide you don't feel like walking across the street for a cappuccino, we have both drip and Italian Biglietto coffeemakers. Then sip on the back deck in a quiet backyard. We love the art we have collected over the years and left much of it in the house for you to enjoy during your stay. Welcome to the William B. Waters House, a 1911 gem just across the Fremont Bridge from downtown, combining new renovation and modern amenities with the charm and character of vintage Portland. The home is in the cultural center of the city, 5 minutes to downtown, 5 minutes to the hot Alberta Arts District, and 5 minutes to the equally trendy Mississippi street restaurants, cafes and bars. The impeccably appointed William Waters House resides in the upscale Irvington neighborhood, a national historic district noted for remarkable architecture, and just one block from one of Portland's loveliest parks, the 16 acre Irving Park, into which our street dead-ends. Irving Park features tennis and basketball courts, children’s playground, open fields and wooded, rolling hills. You'll enjoy a very spacious, renovated, 1st floor apartment, with living room, dining room, kitchen, one bathroom and two bedrooms with king beds, plus a bonus side room with daybed. Please note, that while this is a generously sized apartment on the 1st level of a historic home, there is a strict 5 guest maximum, and parties are strictly prohibited. We are usually nearby, and always available by text or phone to address any needs you have.Other things to note:The apartment is the entire first level of a 3-story historic home and the upper levels of the home are separate living quarters that we live in. Security Camera: There is a motion-activated security camera on the front porch directed toward the sidewalk which can record audio/visual. Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel

I really feel that this hotel is not worthy of the ”Sheraton” brand! Let’s talk about it. I went to the airport and waited for the free shutter of his home for a full half hour. I didn’t expect Portland to be so cold at night, the clothes were worn less, and the dog was frozen! Then the car came, the driver did not get off the luggage, the whole master, so I also decisively did not tip! When I arrived at the front desk of the hotel, I checked in and unfortunately met a girl suspected of racism. When I saw that we were Chinese, I immediately stretched my face a lot and went to the room in a bad mood. I gave the most remote room on the first floor. I walked far away and said that I opened the curtains and saw only one wall! Oh, really depressed! I think about ten o'clock in the evening, I am too lazy to change the room again, ready to wash and sleep, and found that the sewer is not working! It’s really a slap in the face, and I’m going to call the front desk for repairs. Fortunately, this time the repairman came faster, and finally took a shower before 11:00! Is this like the Sheraton Hotel? I really doubt that I lived in the fake Sheraton! Also, another disadvantage of living on the first floor is that the restaurant fume on the first floor of the hotel is filled directly into the room, but there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom! So accompanied by the smell of soot, we spent a night unhappy! I really don't recommend this hotel!

Breakfast is the least variety I have ever experienced, only square bags, breakfast cereals, milk, yogurt, coffee, tea, no more! As soon as I stepped into the hotel room, the dirty smell of a carpet came out, and the old-fashioned air conditioner was noisy. The floor under the carpet of the room is really too old, and it creaks on the floor and is not flat. Only free parking is more convenient. I don't want to come anymore.

I didn’t feel this hotel was worth the price tag. It was clean, nicely designed, and located downtown but they charge an extra $50 each night for services, don’t provide free Wi-Fi (unless you sign up for some kind of Hilton membership), and do not include parking. Also, that area is a business district. The East side of Portland is a more fun area to be based. The gym and pool were alright. Well-equipped but rather small. We got there super late coming in from delayed flight from JFK one night! We’d been cruising Mediterranean for 15 days and had already flown for 17 hours. I had a late check-in Standard room booked for my Sister and I who badly overpacked and had 5 heavy suitcases of various sizes. I chose Holiday Inn @ PDX as it was close by the Airport AND offered shuttle service! With the help of the Shuttle driver we managed to load everything but our carry-on luggage on the cart. Checked in and were given the key to our room on the 2nd Floor. Laboriously we made our way up to 2, managed to get our suitcases outta the elevator with the fast closing door and made it to our assigned room only to discover that the “key” didn’t work—no amount of re-insertion would convince it to, either; so my Sis went back down to the check-in desk and was given a key to a Suite on the 3rd Floor! We made our way up to that suite of rooms and were greeted with an exquisitely dark & dreary mostly dark brown but well appointed two room Suite. The rooms were clean, but the Holiday Inn in th location if VERY OLD, and they’ve done y their best to offer amenities to accommodate and make up for the aged old place. The Coffee Maker didn’t work, but everything else seemed to. The King Bed was super comfortable but the carpeting is old and unraveling and the living-room wall heater burned its way through a travel bag that help my brand new never worn Natica Puffy Jacket and the carrying bag! Didn’t know it was even on. Good place to crash for a night or two, but no longer. Bed was super!!

The location is in the city center, convenient and clean, and the service is good. There are good restaurants nearby. There are large shopping malls, hotel cleaning is done every two days, and the gym is also very useful. There is a microwave at the front desk which is very convenient.

The location of the hotel is superb, just next to the MAX light rail station. After the airport is out, you can take the MAX directly (but please note that the Convention Center station is closed at the end of May, 2019.2.20, and you may have to get off at the previous stop). It is also very convenient to the city. The stadium of the NBA game is nearby (the distance of one stop). If you want to eat, you can choose from the distance you can walk. If you want to shop nearby, you can visit the Lloyd Center Mall (about ten minutes walk). The room allocated was quite large. There was a coffee machine, a microwave oven, and a small bar in the room. The only thing was a bit noisy for the light rail station, but it didn't affect me without sleep disorders.

Lobby and room look amazing. Elevators fast and don’t have to wait too long. The staff are friendly but we asked for laundry bags but waited for so long at least 40 minutes. Breakfast area is good and food was ok. But not that many options to eat. Location is great! So close to downtown. Parking fee I think is 39-40? It was ok but still don’t get it why we need to pay for parking fee when you stay in the hotel( but I guess most of hotels are like that) I wish they had paper slippers in the room.

The hotel is in a great location and is very convenient for travel. The room is also very comfortable, the design is very exquisite and practical, and the view outside the window is invincible. The service of the girls at the front desk and the restaurant is very good.
