|2.03km from city centerThe room was spacious and modernly designed. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities provided, including a refrigerator, slippers, a coffee machine, and conveniently located power sockets behind the beds.
However, the bathroom design was quite impractical. The shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold, likely due to low water pressure since we stayed on the 15th floor (the top floor). The sink and hangers also seemed poorly thought out, as if the designer hadn’t tested them after installation. Only one tissue was found inside the tissue box, and the air conditioning was difficult to adjust for proper ventilation.

Just note that we were trying to check in 2 hours earlier to the stipulated general check in time and the hotel wanted to charge us for it. First time I've heard of this - Adaggio in Edinburgh let us check in much earlier and without charging us so I'm not sure what their general policy is!

Having gone down to reception to report this and confirm the room had been attended to. Initially I was told yes however, within seconds I was informed that the system had been down and that my room may have been missed. I was not offered an apology but I was asked if I would like to help myself to a drink from the fridge to compensate me.

Also, when I asked if there was a coin laundry nearby, he politely told me the location. In addition to that, there were several scenes where I felt the hospitality of the hotel, and it was a hotel that I wanted to use when staying in Liverpool.

The spa is amazing and is true to the advertised pictures, in fact it's even better because they don't show off everything there! The rooms are spotless and so lovely, the staff are all super friendly and polite and cannot do enough to help. Treat yourself to an amazing high class experience for reasonable prices. The thermal journey is an absolute must.

As for downsides, hostel has limited number of bathrooms and showers - this can cause issues if you have to leave quickly. The ventilation in rooms is basically non-existent, and rooms house up to 10 people, so I’ll leave the air quality to your imagination. Sound isolation is not great, so if somebody has a good time in the kitchen you’ll going to hear that. Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper. Cleanliness is subjective, I’m not that picky, but having crumbs in my bed was disconcerting. Some sinks have filters with hair in them. Haven’t seen anything that would be actually harmful like mold or hygiene products, so that is good.
Location is good. Liverpool is not that big and you’ll get to city centre in under an hour even with most leisurely pace. Do visit the cathedral on your way there. I haven’t seen any shops in immediate vicinity though, but I didn’t need them, so maybe you find some if you look. Bus stop for airport is fairly close, so that is a plus as well.
Overall, this is a hostel. You can sleep there, store your stuff and maybe have a chat with interesting people. Price is fair for experience.

The staff were very accommodating, and we were given a free upgrade to the executive suite after a mishap and explaining our situation.
The room was absolutely beautiful, spacious, very well ventilated, and clean.
The towels were extra soft, and there was more than enough to accommodate my family. We received cosy dressing gowns and slippers.
We had extra pillows in the bed, and it was extremely comfortable.
The bathroom amenities were divine, too. The shower room was a great design with very good lighting.
The location was perfect, under a 10 min walk from Liverpool Lime St rail station.

It is a 20-minute walk to James St train station and a 15-minute walk to the city center, Liverpool Cathedral and many other attractions. It is convenient for sightseeing. The heating is powerful, the temperature is suitable, the bed is comfortable, the windows can be opened, and the wifi is good. However, the desk light is dark. It would be better if a desk lamp is added.

|0.96km from city centerWe came here to celebrate my sisters birthday. I have a disability so asked for a accessible room. Well all i can say is wow!! The room was very big, with a full wet room with slip mats, plenty of towels with shampoo conditioner and shower gel, (which wasn't the cheap stuff) a fridge microwave sink coffee machine kettle were all in our room but cleverly hidden in what looked like wardrobes.
Staff were outstanding in every way. We arrived with a card and chocolates on our table wishing my sister a happy birthday, Monday to Thursday they have an hour of free win or soft drinks in reception. The hotel was spotless lifts working at all times, we were close enough to all the bars and shops yet didn't hear any noise when in our room resting. I would highly recommend this hotel and if I'm honest Liverpool itself what a lovely lovely city!!!
Will absolutely be coming back to this hotel in the future.

But 2 fire alarms happened in 4 days I stayed. Staff said there was someone smoked in room! Love the big TV with Sky Sports channel which some of the PL matches can be watched. Also have a gym in 1/F

Downstairs there is a Tesco express open until 11:00 p.m., which is very convenient for buying breakfast or supper.
The service staff kindly gave us a view room on a high floor.
Overall comfort in the room.
The inconvenient part is that the hair dryer has to be borrowed from the counter in advance.
The bathroom did not provide any cleaning products, and the smell of dampness for a long time needs to be improved.
