Over the last several years I have renovated the 3rd floor into 3 unique lofts.It has 20' ceilings, 3 large historic windows that look over 5th Ave, & 2 skylights. There is a private rooftop deck with copper & cedar shake siding. Custom welded handrails & spiral stairs with wood treads. Original heart pine beams from the building were repurposed to make shelves. Two 65" tvs, one 50" tv, and a 12' projector screen. Stained concrete floors downstairs with red oak flooring upstairs, vintage Turkish rugs throughout, antique buffets, a record player, 2 radios with bluetooth capability. Reclaimed barn wood wall in bedroom that is over Silent FX drywall for added sound insulation. 50" round Ralph Lauren chandelier in the main area with a Visual Comfort Chandelier in the bedroom. The Cohen Loft building is a beautifully restored three story dwelling in the heart of downtown Nashville. Originally built in the late 1800’s the building was constructed as a Renaissance Revival-style building by Meyer and Etta Brinkley Cohen. The Etta Loft is located inside the historic Cohen Building. The entire loft is made up of over 3,000+ square foot living space.The couple owned a lucrative jewelry shop on the first floor and occupied the top two levels as their lavish downtown residence. Mrs. Cohen lived and entertained here from the time of her marriage in 1897 until 1930 at the time of her death. She was well known around Nashville for her extravagant parties. The Cohen Building is a piece of history with longtime roots in the downtown Nashville community.In 2012 Sanders Pace Architectural firm was hired to restore the building and create a custom residential loft dwelling on the third floor for the-still current majority owner of The Cohen, Betsy & Ryan Chapman, as well as buildouts for the original corporate headquarters of both Nashville-based, Giarratana Development and Premier Parking (now known as Metropolis Technologies, Inc) and the Modern Trousseau wedding dress shop on the 1st floor. In 2014, the Chapman’s had expanded their family with a little one, paving the way for the current design, which was completed in 2021. To finish out a one of a kind stay, the first floor became the home to the Nashville Barrell Company, a custom whiskey tasting experience and lounge to help round out your Nashville experience.Guests have access to the loft, the building elevator and street level entrance lobby (for entrance and exit of the premises), and two parking space located in the covered garage next door.Parking: You will have 2 reserved, FREE parking spots in the Viridian Parking Garage located.Smoking is not allowed on the property under any circumstances.There is no daily housekeeping service. Pretty nice hotel. However no water was provided, that's why I give 1 points for amenities. Water is cheap and should be provided in any hotel. Very inconvenient when you arrive late from the flight and there is not a single bottle of water in your room.

Stayed for 3 nights, and wanted to be close to the airport for very early morning flight. They had great cookies at check in (recommend the Reece's peanut butter cookie with chocolate chip :-). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had make-your-own waffles, oatmeal, eggs, biscuits/gravy. I can't really comment on those, since I went for yogurt with granola/nuts/dried fruit. Coffee and tea always available in the lobby.

A wonderful hotel located just a few minutes from downtown and Broadway. Our room had a great view of the city, which I really enjoyed. It's a great option for those who like a little peace and relaxation in between wild extravaganzas on the main strips. The shuttle driver was very friendly and the service made it easy and convenient to get to and from Broadway. If you're looking to venture out to other areas or at different times than the shuttle runs, you'll find it's also very easy to get an Uber and pretty affordable. It is also very easy to get to from Nashville Airport or to get on the highway to head to Memphis. The first morning we had breakfast downstairs, we were given a breakfast menu with four options including an omelet, breakfast sandwich, or waffles. I ordered an omelet, which came with home fries, for $13.99. The second morning was buffet style with grits, oats, scrambled eggs, meats, home fries, and some sort of spinach and egg white quiche. The buffet was $14.99 per person. While the food was decent and it did work for convenience while waiting for the rest of the group to get up and going, there's not much to rave about. I will mix it up and try other options next time. I didn't get a chance to try the other restaurant in the hotel, but maybe next time. Overall, it was a great stay I would choose again.

The room is large and even three people can stay there without feeling cramped. There is a small balcony and the air conditioner is quiet (which is hard to find in American hotels). It is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and capsule coffee machine. There are complete washing supplies, but there are no toothbrushes and slippers, so you need to bring your own. The American breakfast is the same as always, and the waiter is very enthusiastic.

I arrived at the airport early in the morning on the plane that day. Recently on our stay at the new Hyatt House I met Kaylee at the front desk. She was super friendly and helpful. I had an outside meeting and didn’t have an umbrella, when there wasn’t any at the front desk she offered to loan hers for a few hours in which I was shocked at her offering. I was able to stay dry and returned her umbrella a few hours later. Secondly upon arriving home I realized I could y find my business journal. We looked high and low and called the hotel to check. When we spoke with someone else they said it was found and nothing was turned in. We thought it was lost but thought to call one more time hoping to Get kaylee because she was so helpful. We told her it Might be in the drawer near the bed as our 6 year old daughter confessed to storing it in their for her dad. A few hours later Kaylee called to tell us SHE FOUND IT! Yes, yes! Thank you Kaylee we are great full you took the extra time t search high and low. Hyatt should be proud to have her!

Staff were good. No hotel shuttle before 6am and that is the reason why I stay there had to pay out of pocket for taxi but the hotel did assist in a deal for the service to the airport. When checking out there was an issue with another guest leaving me no time to check out so no receipt or email was sent yet. as the staff was on the phone. More staff may be needed as the staff time was busy handling other things. When I was waiting another guest came to check in and waited as well and I had to leave before I was even helped. Room was ok older but good price. I would not stay again.

Because I only stayed for one day, I live near the airport, in order to catch the plane. It is nothing special. The breakfast at the hotel was free, and the breakfast at the standard small hotel was quite good. It was too early to arrive, could not stay, ate a breakfast, and left the luggage to go out. The hotel is quite a lot of people living, and it feels more popular than the general airport hotel. Not far from the city center, how much money was forgotten by taxi. Overall it is quite good. The city is a city of country music, many related museums can be seen, there are theaters, and the lively city can not do it - all bars or music, the street has a special car on the parade, the car is lively Young people are singing and jumping, or percussion instruments.

You must take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. If you take a bus, there is no way to get directly to the hotel and you have to walk, which is about two kilometers. And there are no sidewalks, so it is very unsafe to walk on the road. The hotel is very good, a little far from the city.

We have stayed here multiple times in the past 5-10 years, so we *thought* we knew what we were going to get. It's summer in Nashville, so I'm somewhat ok looking the other way with the building and room feeling humid. The room as a whole was fine; comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, fairly comfy chair & ottoman. The minor things are just confusing and concerning that this once Awesome hotel is trending down. 🚪the key card on the door was busted! Sliding in the card was the MOST FINICKY OF ALL TIME, giving us problems. One time the key card slid all the way in, eating the card. Maintenance came to retrieve the card. No fix was made, we were just told to be careful. 🪟 The sunshades behind the window curtain was janky AF, the left side was down but wouldn't move (the cord had been removed and tucked at the top). All while the right was up without a way to get it down, except to pull it. But when I did that, I realized why they had it up and the electric motor turned off... It didn't go all the way down and was shredded. 💧The sink is backwards, hot water to the right & cool to the left. 🌡️ The thermostat was broken. While the room was kept cool, it was uncomfortably cool with it being humid. It was humid enough that the furniture had a tacky feel to it. Did the room work for us, yes. Were all the small things adding up make us consider that our next trip will be booked elsewhere, also yes.

The room is very large, with an inner and an outer room. The bed is large and 1.8 meters wide. It is no problem for two people to sleep. It is very comfortable. There are refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, pots and pans. It is no problem to cook something simple. There is a gym, a swimming pool, and a laundry room on the third floor. The laundry load is $2, which can be exchanged for quarters at the front desk and coin-operated. There is also a small shop at the front desk where you can buy laundry detergent (travel size). The breakfast is very simple, including bread, coffee, yogurt, and waffles. Across the road is Vanderbilt University. The hotel is less than two kilometers away from the city center. On the way to the city center, there is a restaurant called Hattie. It is delicious and highly recommended.

Stayed here right outside Nashville for a couple nights. The owner was so friendly and helpful! I felt welcomed. He addressed all my concerns and the room was clean and comfortable. Although they didn’t have a breakfast in the morning, he did have coffee brewing in the lobby in the mornings. Would recommend for an affordable place out of the mayhem of downtown!

Overall not bad. Someone helped push the luggage when I entered, and there was free water at the front desk. Room quality and cleanliness are acceptable. The only thing is that disposable slippers and toothbrushes are not provided. At the door, there is their own shuttle to send you to a nearby hotel, airport, just pick up a call and pick you up.

The stay was absolutely amazing! We have stayed their before and it was just as great as the first time! We loved the rooftop bar and restaurant! With beautiful views! We will def be back again! Parking was simple with plenty of space as well. Very friend staff too. The air worked amazing and the place had a very pleasant smell. We hardly had to wait on the elevators, they was pretty fast.
