We check in passed 130AM and Hotel receptionist cant find our booking. After handover the booking confirmation + payment receipt, the receptionist just ask us to wait without any explanation. We need to wait for more than 60mins for them to prepare our room and handover the key to us. More unexpectedly they assigned a PWD room to us, not the room type we book we have no choice to sleep over for a night as we only managed to get to our room after 3AM and so tired of long hour travel. We requested to change room next day and being told to wait for 1 hour and again, the receptionist did not arrange new room for us and just let us wait without updates. We again request to change room on the 3rd day and finally they change to a normal room for us. Hotel management need to put in more effort to monitor your services because no guest wish to experiences this kind of unpleasant experiences.

Overall, the hotel itself is good; the rooms and service are all up to par. However, this experience felt a bit strange.
We arrived in the middle of the night, and as soon as we entered the hotel, there were two layers of security checks: first, military personnel with sniffer dogs, and then the hotel's own security. Honestly, this kind of setup made me feel a bit tense and unable to relax.
I was looking forward to the sea view when I woke up, but the weather wasn't great that day; neither the sky nor the sea were very blue. The advantage of the large floor-to-ceiling windows wasn't really utilized, which was a bit disappointing.
After leaving the hotel, the street outside was full of tuk-tuks, emitting a strong diesel smell. It instantly pulled me from the vacation vibe back to reality. 😑

Honestly, having stayed in many five-star hotels, I felt there's room for improvement in their hospitality. For instance, at breakfast, a server spilled juice on my leg while clearing the table next to me. They apologized immediately and said they'd bring napkins. However, several minutes passed, and they unbelievably started setting the adjacent table first and seated new guests. Those guests also seemed confused by the wet floor. I had to ask a different server for napkins before they finally brought them.
Regarding cleanliness, the drain in the shower clogged when I took the first shower, and the water wouldn't go down. Housekeeping promptly cleaned it, but I feel this should have been taken care of before check-in. Also, there were some mysterious stains on the towels, which I think should be replaced more regularly.
Other than that, the clientele staying at the hotel seemed pleasant, and my stay was comfortable. The only place to plug in Japanese appliances was in the bathroom, so a travel adapter is essential.

The hotel environment was beautiful, clean, and very relaxing. I especially loved the garden area, the swimming pool, and the stunning beach views. Waking up to the ocean view from my room was an amazing experience. Even the washroom was well-maintained and offered a great view, which made the stay feel even more special.
What impressed me the most was the genuine hospitality of the staff. They made me feel welcome throughout my stay and paid attention to every detail to ensure my comfort.
