|0.3km from city centerThe room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. There were extra pillows available on each floor. POLA facial cleanser, lotion and emulsion are available at the counter on the first floor. There are also many types of shampoos and conditioners that you can take back to your room to try!
The free curry provided by the hotel is also very delicious!

|0.72km from city centerThe reception was very polite, and since I checked in in the hot weather, I was very grateful for the barley tea.
I felt that the inside of the room was a bit outdated, but the location of the hotel is very good and there are areas that you can enjoy such as the shopping street and Kabukiza Theater nearby, so I would like to stay there again if I have the opportunity. It was a hotel✨

|3.03km from city centerThe hotel is very close to Chinatown Station, and there is a convenience store next to it, which is very convenient.
It's within walking distance to Zepp Fukuoka or PayPay, and the price is reasonable. It's perfect for staying at a concert.
The buffet breakfast is also very delicious. I hope to stay again next time I have the opportunity.

|1.48km from city centerThis is my second stay. The price-performance ratio is too high. I feel like I can stay here every time I come for a transfer. It is convenient and cheap. There is a convenience store and Sukiya downstairs. There is a drugstore at the intersection. Turn right and you will see the Internet-famous bakery. There is really no queue. The picture shows the spectacular scene at 10:30 in the morning.
Go to Fukuoka Airport, walk + subway, 30-40 minutes to get there.

Hakata
Fukuoka
|0.97km from city centerThere are kitchen facilities including pots, frying pans, knives, and plates, so I bought fruit from the mart and prepared it easily~
May melons are in season, so they were really sweet~~^^
It was convenient because there were kitchen facilities, a sofa, TV (Netflix, YouTube, etc.), and openable windows~
But the convenience store, coffee shop, and station are a bit far away, so if you have to walk, it's a difficult location.
There's no luggage storage and no elevator, but... If you're looking for a quiet one-room, this is the place~~^^
* It's unmanned, so you have to check in with a pad!!
* You can check in with the reservation number and PIN number you received by email~!!
* You have to talk to the staff because of the accommodation tax, but they speak Korean well~~!!
**Look for Uber promotions and take a taxi. (It's super convenient when going to the airport)

Hakata
Fukuoka
|1.33km from city centerThe hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Hakata Station. If you have a big suitcase, it is recommended to take a taxi directly from the airport, which costs about 2,000 yen. A few days before check-in, the hotel will send the gate password and check-in password to your email. The instructions are relatively clear. Although there is no front desk, it is very convenient to complete the check-in procedures.
However, because there is no front desk, you cannot store your luggage before the check-in time, and you cannot receive express delivery during your stay (unless you happen to be in the hotel).
The room is clean, but it is not as big as it looks in the picture. There is not enough space to spread out the suitcase, but the bed is very large and comfortable to sleep on. Overall, it is a satisfactory stay experience.

|6.99km from city centerConclusion first: Recommended to stay ☝🏻
First of all, the host responded quickly. There is an electronic lock outside the door. It will light up when you click it first. If you enter the wrong number, it is recommended to wait for it to go out before entering again (it seems there is no delete key, please take your time.
Using Google Map is not very accurate, especially at night when the road is quite dark and the buildings are hard to see clearly. Anyway, when you see 711, turn in and the house is on the right. The building with lots of bicycles in the basement is the right one.
The house is similar to the pictures, fully equipped with disposable toothbrush bags (but I didn't use them since I brought my own), hair dryers and other things. The TV is watchable, not the kind that requires you to rent a DVD. It's a very clean place.
The bed is very comfortable, and the pillow is not the soft kind, which I like~ There is no noise around at night, and it is completely no problem to rest 👌🏻 Both beds have sockets, and there is another mop on the ground to the right of the microwave, which is very convenient for charging.
It is early spring now and the blanket alone is warm enough, so I can’t comment on the air conditioning without using it.
There is a washing machine on the terrace for drying clothes, and there are plenty of hangers in the closet so there won’t be enough. There are also clips for socks and the like on the terrace.
The toilet and bathroom are separated, the toilet is on the left and the bathroom is on the right. The toilet is a little narrow, but it is clean and smells good. The toilet seat is heated and warm. The toilet paper is the thickest I have ever used in Japan. Although it is still relatively thin, I guess it is one of the thickest in Japan🥺This is great. My favorite thing in the whole house is actually the toilet, although it is a bit narrow.
There is a kitchen and a microwave, as well as detergent and other supplies. It is also convenient to cook at aeon MaxValu nearby.
There is a 7-Eleven on the left when you go out, and there is also a Lawson at JR Minami-Fukuoka Station. If you go to Nishitetsu Zaxiangkuma Station, there will be two 711s along the way.
The transportation is generally convenient, and it takes about 10 minutes to get to the above two stations. However, they are all straight roads and not difficult to walk on. Considering the housing prices, this distance is quite reasonable. If you take the JR sub rapid train, it only takes 5 minutes from Minami-Fukuoka to Hakata. The regular train takes about 12 minutes. You can take the Nishitetsu to Nishitetsu Tenjin Station, and you can also take the Nishitetsu directly to Dazaifu.
If you have large luggage, please be aware that some roads are narrow.
The following are the shortcomings: On the first night, I saw a very big cockroach in the toilet. It was scary. The host said that generally there are more mosquitoes and cockroaches are rare. We flushed the toilet and didn't see the second one afterwards so it must have been an accident.
There is no curtain in the bathroom, so the floor will get wet. Remember to put your slippers outside the door. The ventilation is slow and the water on the ground will not dry up even the next day.
In the next two days, mosquitoes were indeed quite common as the host said. They were big and had long legs and were easy to kill. 😂 Considering that there are mosquitoes in winter, there should be more in summer. If you don't open the terrace door unless necessary, it shouldn't be a big problem.

|4.63km from city centerThe second time I chose to stay here, the hotel has a shuttle bus to pick up and drop off at Terminals 1, 2, and 3 on a regular basis, there is a Lawson convenience store, the breakfast is rich, and the cost-effectiveness is high. I was given a free cancellation due to a flight change on the first day of arrival, which was a bit regrettable. It is the best choice for transit during the journey.

|0.56km from city centerThe location was good and there were many convenience stores nearby, so it was convenient, but the rooms in the hotel were just so dirty... There was so much dust and the carpet on the floor was sticky for some reason and it was really disgusting, and I'd like them to clean up the area behind the shelves where there are a lot of wires.
There were so many spiders that I wondered if it was a home for insects.
There were only three outlets in total, and one was broken and missing. This is the first time I've stayed in a hotel where there were so few outlets in the places I needed them.
Also, the walls were so thin that I was woken up by the alarm in the next room, and the alarm on the bed went off at 7am even though I hadn't set it. The staff were very friendly and the location was great, so I would recommend it to people who don't mind a lack of cleanliness.

Fukuoka
|0.99km from city centerPersonal opinion as a female Asian traveler.
Location: 20 mins walk from Hakata station. 4 mins walk to Gion bus stop or canal city bus stop, both go to Hakata station in around 10 mins. Also, 15 mins walk to Kawabata Shopping Arcade and Canal CityHakata. There are not many restaurants nearby, only convenient stores around the area. Better eat before returning to the hotel. There is a MaxValu Express (open for 24 hrs, 2 levels: 1st floor drugsstore and B1 supermarket) 4 mins walk from the hotel. Great option for late night snacks, drinks, daily necessities, and tax-free shopping.
Room: small and a bit old, cleanliness ok, no bath tub only shower stall. Shower water is not hot enough. Very poor sound insulation (recommended to use earplugs when sleepping. Provided on 1st floor of hotel). You can hear almost every single activity happening next door(literally meaning). Light switches far away from bed, which is a bit inconvenient.
Front desk: it is an unmanned hotel. Self check-in via smartphone prior (utilizing the QR code) or via computer on 1st floor. Self check-out via tablet provided inside the room or computer on 1st floor. Using password to enter room. There is a female staff member in the lobby area in the morning if needed help for anything. She doesn't speak much English but is very friendly and willing to help. Also, you can text the hotel staff member for assistance if needed via the room tablet provided. They reply quickly.
Amenities: self-service, self luggage storage, only basic items provided. There is no ice maker and only 1 laundry machine on the 1st floor (always being occupied).
All in all, Pros: though the hotel is unmanned, I find it pretty chill, easy and efficient as long as you figure out how things work (not hard at all, perhaps more accessible for younger visitors). Cons: You really have to lower your expectations for everything else. I personally feel it is more like a hostel than a hotel. But considering it is the Hakata area and with this affortable price, can't murmur.

|0.38km from city centerThe hotel is at Exit12C East of Tenjin Underground Street (note that it is not the East Exit of Tenjin Subway Station!) Exit 12c is a staircase. If you have heavy luggage, you can take the East 1** Exit escalator to the ground and then walk past the hotel. Hotel location is very convenient, I was worried that the room was very noisy before, but fortunately, the good neighbors encountered this time were quiet. The room has a small refrigerator, two hangers, shower room, dry and wet separation, stayed for four nights, basically go to parco, mina, Chaopai Street are all walking for ten minutes. Very convenient ~

|0.66km from city centerIn the department store B1, the location is very good.
The number of seats in the common eating space is relatively small
The quality of the capsule's accommodation still depends on the quality of other guests. On the night of my stay, there were drunks falling, and even some people talking on the phone and swiping movies in other sleep cabins.

|1.41km from city centerYou can’t choose the type of room. The hotel offers a large room. Although there is no bathroom, there is a large bathhouse on the first floor. If you go to 11 o'clock in the evening, you can book your own room, which is not bad. The advantage is that check out can also store luggage in the hotel, and luggage can stay overnight, you don’t need to carry your luggage when you go to other places, like it

|1.34km from city centerThe location is good! It closes to the Hakata main station. The check-in time is sharply at 15:00. If you arrive early, like 1430, the old man receptionist would tell you the check-in time is 1500. I think he is a bit rude. He can politely to ask the customers to take a sit or please come back the reception at 1500, instead of telling me what time is it right now. It would be better if the hotel can provide more training to that old man staff.
In general, it is good if you just simply would like to stay for 1-2 nights.

Fukuoka
|0.65km from city centerThe Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka is located in a prime location in the city center, adjacent to the Hakata business district and Canal City, and a 5-minute walk to the airport. The guest rooms are modern and luxurious, and the high-rise view rooms have a panoramic view of the city skyline. The intelligent temperature control system and the whole house smart home enhance the comfort. The executive lounge provides tea breaks and business support all day long, and the rooftop outdoor swimming pool overlooks the night view with ingenuity. In terms of dining, ”THE CUT” Teppanyaki specializes in Wagyu cuisine, and ”Ryugin” presents authentic Kaiseki aesthetics, both of which are recommended by Michelin. The hotel is equipped with a children's club, executive concierge and free airport transfers (need to be confirmed in advance), and the service is meticulous. Although it is positioned as high-end, it is indeed a good choice for business and leisure due to its scarce landscape and complete facilities.
