The atmosphere of the whole homestay is very comfortable and relaxing. The layout of the room is the same as the photos provided by the homestay. The air-conditioning is very cold and clean. Toiletries and hair dryers are provided. A few steps away is Jonker Street, and a few steps away from the back door is Lorong Seni and The Old Station Cafe. You need to check in to get to the room area, which makes people feel at ease. Recommended!

The hotel is located in the Heritage district of Melaka, meaning that it is surrounded by some of the most interesting and prettiest buildings, including cafes and museums. It's close enough to easily get to tourist sites like Jonker Street and the Dutch Square, but far enough away that you don't have to worry about noise disturbing your rest. The inside of the hotel is so pretty. If we had stayed longer, we would have loved to have coffee in the lobby or the courtyard. Our room was absolutely perfect. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large and had great water pressure in the shower, and the bathrobes that were provided were lovely and fluffy. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Melaka.

Concierge was polite and friendly. Room was clean and cozy, water heater worked great and was reliable. We were provided new bottled water when we asked. Just a few things could be improved/noted for future guests: TV and wifi signal not very good, the display outside the window is a little jarring and strange at first. Also there was someone in the next room seemingly banging things against the connecting door, and opening and closing their side trying to open ours, which was frightening. Not sure if it was staff or other guest. Overall still a pleasant stay, close to jonker walk. Do note that money changers might not be easy to find or not open on weekends

The location definitely good for tourist, lots of food & store nearby, no need to worry about meals. Transportation is convenience where Grab can access easily there. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Security system is good where access card is needed to open the main door. Water dispenser is provided at the lobby area which is very good for us. The room is spacious for 4 adults with luggage. Overall good for the price. Worth it.

Nice hotel in the heart of malacca. We chose the balcony room. We enjoyed our stay until the last day when we requested late check out until 12.30pm but suddenly around 11.30am-12.30pm, our electricity was cut off . We call the receptionist they mention that some rooms electricity was cut off and awaiting someone to come over and check . As for all reviews mentioning that the hotel is noisy.. we indeed encounter noise in the afternoon and early morning. Light sleeper will feel annoyed as it’s not sound proof.. Other than that, it’s quite a nice hotel to stay .

From Chicken Farm Street is indeed very close on a block location very convenient across the river is the Red House to nearby attractions walk OK sun Upstairs in the restaurant by the river about the noise actually did not sleep quite well But checkin need to call the CS (there is a notice at the door) a very difficult little brother will come down to open the door and exit requires a password and there are 2 passwords for the front and back doors Stayed for 4 nights, no one cleans the room and clears the garbage 🗑️ Not changing towels and sheets is acceptable but not cleaning the garbage this point is not very satisfied because garbage will irritate 🪳 The bathroom has infiltration to the floor of the room needs to be more careful about placing personal items The TV is set in the furnishings of the app can not operate basic I do not know if the wifi problem or remote control problem give up .... Other than the location price nothing else 😂

Crews are very friendly and helpful, location is good, 1 min walk to jonker street. The room however is very basic, quite small and you could say old. Sprung mattress where you can feel the spring and the bed creeks when you move. Aircond and water heater was ok. There’s no bidet in toilet. Amenities are good. A very very basic room. I recently stayed at Hotel Tamara Melaka for 3 days and 2 nights. While the hotel looked new, clean, and modern from the outside and the lobby area was quite stylish and spacious. Unfortunately, my stay didn’t go entirely smoothly. 🚪 Check-In & First Impressions The check-in process was fine, and the hotel interior looked polished, with a clean reception area and bright decor. The staff were polite and attentive, which I appreciated. 🚽 The Main Issue: Toilet Smell However, the biggest issue during my stay was the unpleasant smell coming from the toilet in our initial room. I reported it to the front desk, and they quickly sent housekeeping to clean it thoroughly, which I appreciated. Sadly, even after cleaning, the smell returned later that evening when we came back from dinner. We requested a room change, but the hotel was fully booked that night. The only available option was a twin bed room, which wasn’t ideal, but we had no choice as the toilet smell was really unbearable. Thankfully, the second room was much better. Clean, no odor, and everything worked as expected. I’m glad the hotel team managed to accommodate our request despite being full. 👍 What I Liked: • Beautiful, modern lobby and common areas • Quick response from staff when I raised the issue • Second room was clean and comfortable • Nice touches like bright flowers and a decorative trishaw in the lobby 👎 What Could Be Improved: • First room had serious plumbing/sanitation issues • It took a room change to solve the problem • Twin bed instead of a king, not ideal, but understandable due to availability ⭐ Final Thoughts: Overall, this was not the most pleasant hotel stay due to the room issue. However, I do give credit to the staff for trying their best to help. If maintenance improves and the rooms are better checked before guests arrive, the hotel has good potential. Rating: 6.5/10 I might consider staying again, but only if I’m assured of a properly maintained room.

Beautiful staycation. Have been wanted to try this classic and the oldest hotel in Malacca for so long and my husband decided to stay here for me and my son’s birthday this year. Very good location literally 5 minutes away from all the attractions, 5 minutes to Jonker Walk & museums. The services also very impressive. They provided small yummy chocolate cake and deco for our birthdays inside the room. My husband also got assisted with his wheelchair as he was just one week post op. Breakfast were ala carte style but you can have unlimited orders. Malacca curry noodles was yummy! Swim pool also simple but super nice my kids love it. The room deco was classic and everything was perfect! Had a great staycation here and even recommended it to our family members. Thank you Majestic Malacca for our beautiful family staycation 😊
