Located directly on famous and historic King Street, location and parking won't be an issue here!Accessed by it own entrance/exit, and up (exterior) stairs, The Marquee Suite B features an open floor plan that accommodates both dining and lounge space, making it great for groups looking to spend time together or enjoy a meal. Living room with high vaulted ceilings, beautiful exposed wood beams and original brick walls features seating and a sleeper sofa. Master Suite features a plush King Size bed with luxurious linens and complete with a full ensuite bath. The two guest bedrooms are located up the stairs on the main level (3rd floor in building), with a full bathroom just off of the main living room and bedroom hall. Each of these bedrooms with its own flat screen TV and Queen sized bed. Our living room features a pullout sofa. Please inquire with the team if you would like for us to drop off a second set of linens for the sleeper sofa. A conveniently equipped kitchenette with basic kitchenware is also located on this main level.GUEST ACCESSGuests will have exclusive access to the third floor of the building. Lovely hotel with nice large shower and vanity. Beautiful garden , fountain and pool. Staff was super professional and accommodating. The canopy beds were comfortable with luxury linens. It is an historic building so keep that in mind. So convenient to everything Charleston. I would most definitely stay again.

The hotel has a good location, located in the center of Charleston. The pedestrian street and the center are on the side. You can see many attractions when you go out for a walk. The central market is also within walking distance. The hotel itself is also a historical and cultural hotel named in the United States. It is registered, so its quality is guaranteed. The rooms are large and the facilities are complete, but the building itself is not so perfect after a few years. The front desk clerk is of high quality, good attitude, typical gentleman demeanor, so you are very comfortable, and you can relax and drink in the lobby...Although breakfast is a set meal, you can set it according to your needs, even You can have more points, the waiter is very friendly, I want to tip...recommend this hotel, I will book next time

The representatives were all very friendly and informative. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The pool was very nice but a bit cool due to it’s always in shade between the Hotel and the neighboring building. Complimentary breakfast was a variety. From dry cerial, to hot oatmeal or grits, to waffles to eggs and fried potatoes with peppers. Very Nice. Only one suggestion would be to add a couple of towel holder hooks or racks so to be able to reuse.

The room was clean and in good shape. My problem was we were not able to close the black out curtains and a bright street light shone in. The room had no view except for the air conditioning units. This disturbed our sleep all night. The food was good but a bit pricey. The service was good and the staff that we met were friendly. Over all I probably would stay here again, but ask for a better room.

The hotel is a quaint place in the heart of historic downtown Charleston. Wonderful breakfast! However, we forgot a bottle of wine we had purchased in the room and they failed to inform us even though we didn’t get our car from valet for several hours after checkout AND they identified us as the people that checked out when we picked it up. Sure, it was our fault that we forgot it but I expected a higher level of service from this hotel.

The hotel lobby and garden are very beautiful, with free ice water all day, and the summer is really comfortable. The pool is open until 10 o'clock in the evening. It is a bit small. It feels like playing with water and sunbathing. The conditions are very good, with towels. Booked a twin room suitable for three people's room type and price, but the room is smaller than the imagination, can not sleep three people, had to pay for the room at the front desk. The location is very good and the shopping around the restaurant is very convenient. Parking, 39 dollars a day, valet parking.

The best things about the Hampton Inn were the location and the hotel employees. The hotel is 15 minutes to half an hour walk from Charleston’s major attractions, including shopping, and twenty minutes from the airport. Charleston is made for walking. It is compact, clean and safe, so we walked everywhere. The attitude of the front desk employees epitomized southern hospitality. The hotel offers free breakfast which is basic, but satisfying. The environment of the hotel is very good, the air is fresh and the environment is beautiful. Opposite the room is the harbor where the yachts dock. Going out for dinner is a bit awkward, and there is no problem with driving. However, the hotel has a shuttle bus to and from the city center, so overall it is ok.
