|1.09km from city centerThis hotel is located in the safest area in Boston, facing the sea, with a good view! However, the facilities are relatively old, and the service is really hard to describe. I feel that several front desks are incomprehensible and sloppy; they have paid in full in advance and have been repeatedly informed, and the room fee has been swiped twice. If there is no instant message on the credit card , will muddle along in a daze, I am really convinced, and I have no apologies for making mistakes, and I have fully felt the maddening casualness and sloppyness, and the service is poor!

|3.48km from city centerI had an enjoyable stay at the place. The place is new and clean. The staff were pleasant, courteous and helpful. The rooms smells fresh and is comfortable to sleep 4.
The hot breakfast has a pretty good spread and the food is fresh. The servers work really hard and refills the food promptly. Kudos to them.
Overall the stay is value for money. A great place to rest and recharge. Nothing to do with the hotel, but the neighbourhood is a below expectations and feels unsafe. It is apparent if you walk around in the late evening. Nevertheless, if you are hopping around the city, getting a Lyft or Uber is easy and the neighbourhood should not be a factor.

There are stairs that can be used by the general public in place of the elevator. There were only two elevators during my stay and one of them was broken. The hotel was overcrowded so there was a queue for the elevator. The front desk staff asked me to access the stairwell through the administrative area, which is poor building design. In addition, there are almost no parking spaces inside. The underground parking lot is very small and tends to be full, so I had to park in a nearby parking lot.
field. Interestingly, the daily rate is much cheaper than in a hotel…

Right next to Boston Park, a few steps downstairs to the subway, a few stops to Harvard, Massachusetts, very convenient. A little walk to the city center, and then walk to Quincy Market. Will stay here next time

|1.31km from city centerMy second stay at the hotel in a month. Really impressed with hotel services by everyone i encountered at The Newbury Boston. I had a late midnight flight flying out, so have requested for a late check out via trip.com comment box. When I checked in, the hotel told me they took note of my request on the trip.com booking and gave me a late check out. Appreciate the professional service at the reception! And the efficiency of trip.com on meeting my request and bookings 🩵 Thank you

Waterfront
Boston
|1.29km from city centerThe hotel charges a $300 security deposit and an automatic 18% gratuity on any food/drink purchased. A bowl of oa**eal and coffee was $23. There is no breakfast buffet available. The rooms are tiny and designed very much like a cruise ship cabin, complete with bunk beds! There are no closets, drawers or counter space in the room and only 6 hangers (to hang clothes where?) I had to use the ironing board for toiletries. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom only by a curtain. (I wonder how couples feel about each other after staying there?) The only window is a floor-to-ceiling window in the bathroom so you can flash nearby shoppers as you step out of the shower. The heated towel rack in not within arm's reach of the shower and featured hard and frayed towels. The room featured a large TV that was surrounded by LED lights. No obvious switch turned off said LEDs, but apparently the round rainbow-colored emblem in one of the built-in cubby holes turned it off.
On the plus side, the hotel is a half-mile from the Boston Convention Center. Also, travelers can take the Silver Line bus from Logan Airport to South Station (or one stop short of the station to this hotel) for FREE! The one-way trip back to Logan Airport is $2.40. There is a rooftop bar that features a nice city view.

Before the check-in time, the luggage was stored first and went out to play. The hotel took the initiative to help us deliver the luggage to the room.
The room is spacious, comfortable and hygienic, and the air conditioning is very powerful on a hot day.

Boston
|1.23km from city centerThe room is very small, about 10-12 square meters, which is inconsistent with the description on the Internet. The bathroom is also very small, only shower gel and shampoo are provided, and toothbrushes, toothpaste and slippers are not provided. The mineral water in the room is only provided on the first night, and it is no longer provided afterwards. There is free machine-drawn water in the lobby. When checking in, the service of the front desk lady is average, with a blank expression. The two of us only took one passport to register; the service of the beautiful lady at check-out is very good, and she also helped to re-register Marriott points. Emerson is in the school season, and it is a three-minute walk, so the room price is relatively expensive. I went to New York for a week and returned to the Hilton opposite the Courtyard. I will compare it then.

|3.67km from city centerThe room is about 10 minutes' walk from the subway entrance. You can see it after crossing the bridge. I don't know what the surrounding environment is like. Check-in is only available at 3 pm. We arrived in the morning and left our luggage at the front desk. In addition, the room is large and clean. The bed is also large. The breakfast is not bad. Compared with those hotels in downtown Boston, this one is still very cost-effective.

|0.57km from city centerThis Indigo should have just been renovated last year, and Apple's own map shows Holiday Choice. I have stayed a lot at Intercontinental / Crown / Holiday / Smart Choice. This is my first time staying at Indigo. Some places around are under maintenance and a little messy, but there are many restaurants and supermarkets. Get a staple drink for breakfast, a small portion and a bad attitude.
There is no garden around this hotel. Why is it called Garden? Because next to TD Garden, which is also the home field of basketball and ice hockey teams, concerts are also held, the price changes a lot, there are often no rooms when there are activities, and it is noisy after leaving at night. It is also next to the North Railway Station and the subway station, but to go to New York from South Station. There is a parking lot and valet parking at the entrance of the hotel.
Unfortunately, when I checked in, it was 5 ° C outside, and I changed to the fourth room to heat up. When your room has a small air conditioner as shown in Figure 4, the large air conditioner is likely to be bad, and the small air conditioner may also be bad, much colder than the hallway. The front desk will let people repair it. (Fake decoration) If it is not repaired, it will help you to change. The attitude is good, but I suspect that they already know which rooms have bad air conditioning. The cleaning staff speaks Spanish, not English at all, and requires software translation.
In short, you don't need to live here if you don't want to watch the game nearby.

|6.37km from city centerHotels in Boston are surprisingly expensive. A hotel with the most three stars in the country costs 3,000 yuan a day. Moreover, the location is not in the urban area. It is at least half an hour's walk from the subway, which means it takes at least half an hour to walk to Harvard. But the hotel is not far from the Charles River. The scenery along the river is beautiful and a good place for walking and leisure.

|3.24km from city centerThe location is quite good. It's right on the Boston University campus. It's very easy to get around in all aspects. There are also many kinds of food in the surrounding area, which is very convenient. It's just that the hotel is a bit old. |3.75km from city centerI was pleasantly surprised to participate in the hula and lei weaving classes organized by the hotel. They also have ukulele classes. It's a pity that we didn't sign up.
The hotel's swimming pool and hot tub are very comfortable.
The complimentary chocolates and facial masks made our family very happy.
The hotel is only a 3-minute walk from the Polynesian Cultural Center.
Next door to the hotel is the bus station. Unfortunately, we had too much luggage and the driver wouldn't let us on.
The only drawback is that it is very difficult to get a taxi or ride-hailing service nearby.
We persisted in booking an Uber, and it took about an hour before we got one. It’s about $65 from the hotel to Waikiki Beach.
However, this is still a very beautiful hotel. One ticket for the cultural center next door is good for three days. So it will be more reasonable to book two nights in the future.
This way you can walk back to the hotel to rest after the show in the evening. You can go again the next day.
By the way, hotel parking requires another $20.
Everything else is fine. recommend! Come again in the future!
