The hotel's location is excellent, with a Target nearby, and it's a 20-minute drive to Koreatown and Beverly Hills. There are plenty of great restaurants around. Being right on the UCLA campus, it's very safe, convenient for campus visits, and always bustling with conferences. The hotel environment is also very good. The downstairs restaurant is quite popular, and it explicitly states that it doesn't charge a service fee, which is a big plus – the service was so good I actually wanted to tip! The food was delicious, and there was a wide selection of drinks. The hotel facilities are a bit old, and it's quite rare for a room not to have a refrigerator, but the bedding was comfortable. You really have to lower your expectations a bit for hotels in the US. For check-out, they don't proactively confirm the bill with guests; they just deduct from your pre-authorization, and it shows up on your credit card statement a bit later. Another hotel I stayed at did the same thing. My understanding is that in the US, trust is a fundamental operating rule.

After a long flight, a comfortable hotel for a good rest is really important. Once you clear customs and exit the airport, head to the Departure Level. Just follow the signs for 'Hotel & Private Parking Shuttle' and wait by the pillar with the red sticker. The shuttle bus, white with blue 'Hillton' lettering, is very distinctive. The driver was excellent; he helped us load our luggage onto the bus and then unloaded it for us at the hotel. We only had to hand over our bags, and with two of us and five suitcases, it was effortless! We made sure to tip him. The hotel has a small bistro on the ground floor with delicious pizza. If you can't finish it, there's a fridge in the room, and a microwave downstairs if you want to reheat it – very convenient! The subway station is just diagonally across the street from the hotel. We stayed for two nights before renting a car. We took the hotel shuttle back to the airport and then transferred to the car rental company's shuttle, which was very easy!

Overall, a beautiful, clean, and well-maintained hotel in a very good location. Although the Walk of Fame is just steps away, the hotel is thankfully almost completely free of the hustle and bustle. Unfortunately, the rooftop bar was closed for a private event during our stay. The rather loud music playing there was still clearly audible in our room on the second floor. Furthermore, we unfortunately had the impression that individual requests were either not addressed or only addressed to a very limited extent. Nevertheless, our stay was pleasant overall, especially due to the cleanliness and the excellent location.

Great value for money! If you're not looking for overly luxurious accommodation and just need a place to stay and rest, this spot is truly excellent! Especially the owner, who is super enthusiastic and always ready to help. They really take care of their guests' daily needs. Parking nearby is also not an issue; the owner will tell you exactly where to find a guaranteed spot, even if you don't mind walking an extra 100-300 meters. You don't need to worry about safety in the area either—I ran around nearby for three consecutive nights, even at 11 PM or 12 AM, with no safety concerns. There's also a large supermarket close by, so you can buy groceries and use the owner's kitchen. In short, if you're not seeking 'over-the-top' or 'extremely luxurious' accommodations, this place offers great value for money and is highly recommended!!

Stayed for two nights, but my biggest complaint is with the Ctrip booking process. The hotel couldn't link my membership, so I missed out on points! Even more frustrating, on the first day, my room wasn't cleaned, and the linens weren't changed. I was stunned when I got back in the evening. I called to ask them to take out the trash and change the linens, but it took nearly twenty minutes for someone to show up with only the linens. They couldn't speak English and didn't even touch the trash. It was infuriating. I initially chose this hotel for two reasons: 1. Hyatt's mattresses are my favorite — nice and soft; and 2. It's a newer hotel with modern facilities. And it certainly lived up to that; it's much more comfortable than hotels that are over ten years old. The breakfast was fine. There's always iced water available downstairs during the day, and I think also in the gym on the basement level at night, so you don't have to worry about not having water.

Excellent location, very close to the airport. The facilities are well-maintained, and there's always an elevator waiting on the first floor for guests (very thoughtful service design). The parking fee was a bit expensive; the front desk quoted $15.50 USD for a day, but I ended up paying over $50. As a branded hotel, it had no significant shortcomings, and the overall experience was good!

The hotel does not tell me that there is a parking charge when I check-in, and told that the parking was $10.- when I check out. There are a lot of good restaurants around the hotel and its easy to get back to the highway. TV is located on the right hand side wall of the beds, which is not common. Just stayed for 1 night and no time to explore other facilities

The stay at the Biltmore was about convenience and history. Ok, and a great nightly rate. There is much to appreciate about old historic hotels where you do sacrifice some modern and expected hotel conveniences for the experience of it all. I wanted to stay there at least once so that is an objective achieved. That said, there is a lot of work that can be done to bring bathrooms up to date including paint touch ups and modern fixtures. It was not dirty, it just felt a bit run down especially compared to the bedroom. Otherwise no problems at all and would recommend to anyone traveling in downtown Los Angeles. It is super convenient and if you appreciate history, you will enjoy the experience.
