The location is the biggest advantage. There is an Asian restaurant right outside the door, and the food is good. There is a motorcycle sound blowing the street at night! It is noisy to close the window, and the room inside may be better! The door of bathroom is not closing properly, hence it is not suitable for a room of multiple persons. This is not a defect, it is by design so.

The room was OK and clean. My dad and I both brought large luggage and it was no problem to open it up in the room. The bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas. Although it was small, it did not affect the use!
I don’t know why in the morning, we booked a room with breakfast for two people, but it didn’t show up at the front desk. Later, we took out our booking email to the front desk, and it said that each room includes breakfast for two guests. However, the lady at the front desk said that the room price we booked should only include breakfast for one person... Anyway, in order to save trouble, we paid for breakfast for one person on the spot 🤷♀️
I think the breakfast is pretty good! There are so many varieties! And the mint tea they prepared was delicious!
There is a gas station next to the hotel, and there is a Norma supermarket a few hundred meters behind it, which is quite convenient!
The hotel has an underground parking lot with a very narrow entrance. We parked there for one night and paid 10 Euros, which I think is ok! At least it saves you the trouble of finding a parking space!

There was no pot for boiling water in room, you need to get it by asking the reception.
Anyway, the room was big, clean and decorated well. It should be better if you are travelling with your own car for choosing this hotel.

There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the opposite direction from the train station. The hotel staff did a fast and amazing job cleaning the rooms. The counter staff are helpful and attentive. The price is affordable too. However, noise could be an issue whether your room is facing the streets (because of the tram and drunk people) as well as the back of the hotel (lots of sound from children during the day). Will definitely book here again in future

|4.01km from city centerThe place where I needed to stay at was the “sister’s hotel” which was beside the actual hotel which I checked in so whenever I needed some assistance from the staff, I needed to walk over to ask personally as there wasn’t a phone in the room. So if there is an emergency, you cannot ask help from their staff immediately. The main door at that “sister’s hotel” was not even locked properly so I felt unsafe at night (I stayed for 4 nights). The lady in the reception was impatient and unfriendly. I didn’t even dare to ask 1 more question to her as her facial expression was like unhelpful to me. Her attitude was different when she was speaking to 2 non-Asian guys & a lady. But I was happy to see a guy doing the night shift when I checked out from the hotel. He was friendly and helpful. Thank you 😊

|3.22km from city centerI seldom give bad reviews to the service staff because no matter in which country the service staff is hard and will face a lot of unfriendly guests. But this time in Westin made me feel very bad. Total three days of breakfast, first day because I went with my dad and I could see well with my baby. The second day dad was too tired to join us. I was the only one to babysit a one year old baby. While I was ordering tea with the waitress, she accidentally knocked over the milk and spilled it all over the table. But the first thing I did was apologize to a lady server and assisted her in cleaning it up. Of course it was not clean as new. When we went back on the third day, an older male waiter came over to chastise us before we even sat down, presumably meaning that he had soiled the dining chairs yesterday and told us to sit in the baby chairs. I stated that there was no problem and apologized again. Surprisingly he shrugged it off and left without bringing me the baby chair and without serving me tea. You can imagine how embarrassed I was. The person who came to enjoy the service was scolded. That wasn't enough. This time I was with my dad and the baby wasn't creating extra trash and I could make sure the table was clean. The way normal polite people would bring it. The man ended up coming back to chant as we were leaving and kept saying we created trash.????? You didn't have a single crumb from your meal? If you don't want to serve customers, you have the option of changing jobs. Several other lady waiters were very friendly. What was a very good impression of the hotel was ruined by this one person. We will be going to Munich often but are not going to choose this hotel again. No one wants to be stared at by a mean person while eating breakfast.

Chose this hotel because it's much cheaper than others in the city centre & because it has a direct train line (S8) to the airport. 3 tram stops from Munchen Pasing station. Around 25 mins to the city centre via tram S19. Rooms are very clean, beds are comfy, very true to pictures in website. Happened to chance upon their ”older rooms” but they look much nicer in real life. No water kettle to boil water in the room BUT the front desk & other staff will give you a jug of hot water anytime. Great service!

I tried to search for dust (since I have bad allergies) but didn't encounter any. Only thing is that there could be more hooks / places to hang things in the toilet, and maybe 2-4 more hangers 🤣 (I travelled with a female friend, so you can imagine the amount of clothes we had to hang up.) There's also only one plug between the beds, so that's a little troublesome since we didn't exactly have a multi plug.
The hotel is pretty near Machtlfinger Straße, very accessible and there's a grocery just down the road as well.

You will need to put on the bed sheet, pillow case, etc your side, and at the end of trip, u will need to bring everything down to the laundry cart. They have happy hour at the bar.. Music play thru out the night till 2plus am. Extended check out time after 10am will be extra euro per pax which I think is very reasonable. Cleaner came into room at around 10am, everyday. There was once we will still in our room, we got a shock, as she did not knock the door, just open with her access card. Only then we realised she came everyday. Overall quite nice. If u are looking for budget accommodation, can consider. Btw, we are a group of 4 gers,having the room to ourself, so no experience about mixed sharing dorm.
