Because it is close to my daughter's home, my daughter recommended it. After booking, there is no obvious reminder of the check-in process. We arrived in New York and got off the plane. We knew that we had to register. Uploading passports and credit cards was considered to be self-check-in. After all this was completed, we got the password. Building, The elevator was very smooth, but the room could not enter. It was already more than 11 o'clock in the middle of the night. The long-distance plane was very tired. Contact customer service at the door of the room. The customer service responded quickly. I know that the domestic customer service is a microphone, but I can experience the service is still timely. The hotel's requirements are very strange. Thinking that the password they provided is correct, it must be our operation problem, encountering this kind of emergency, the best and fastest solution should not be to change a room? It was not until I proposed this plan that I finally solved it. The bed in the changed room was small, the room rate was different, and Trip.com also refunded it in time. Fortunately, I booked from Trip.com. If I booked directly with the hotel, the language problem and other factors are more difficult to communicate. The room itself is not bad, the mattress is comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a dishwasher. It is very close to the uncle, but there is no one to do hygiene during the stay, and there is no service staff. It is very troublesome for people with language difficulties.

My daughter and I shared a room with double beds, the room was very spacious with everything you need (iron, ironing board, blow dryer, full bottles of shampoo - conditioner - body wash, etc.). Close to NYC, just across the bridge, Uber and taxis right outside the door. Front desk staff so helpful, friendly and professional. Very safe.

There is no problem with cleanliness. However, the facilities in the bedrooms and the service provided by the staff are minimal, so you need to get used to it to stay comfortably. However, it is reasonable compared to the local market, so I think it is ideal for travelers who are price-conscious but don't want to get a bad experience. However, there are no curtains or partitions on the beds, and you can't even hang your towel on the top bunk. The beds are pipe beds, so even if you turn over a little, the vibrations will be transmitted to the person below (and vice versa), so I think you need talent and experience to get a good night's sleep. The mattress is firm and the size is acceptable. I am 185 cm tall, but I was able to stretch my legs out and sleep. Newer and more comfortable-looking dormitories in New York are much more expensive than this one, so I am grateful that they offered an option at this price (10,000 yen per night in Japanese yen) with acceptable simplicity. The location was relatively near to Time Square given that there's a direct line. The Subway is 2 minutes away, which makes it really convenient! The hotel is clean and I really love the amenities. There's a 24 hour mart right beside the hotel so you can get food anytime. Within the hotel, there's a 24 hour gym. You can get water from the water dispenser at the basement and there's also a coin operated laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. Though, I wish there's a kettle in the room to make it easier for me get hot water. Apart from that, my trip was made memorable with hospitable staff namely Shaheed, Doug(las) and Therasa!

There is a clear reminder that the room will be cleaned every two days. When our room was not cleaned for 3 consecutive days, we went to the front desk to negotiate. The solution given was that only the garbage could be picked up on the same day. We agreed, but until check-out, no service staff showed up to clean up the garbage. I don't know if this is an occasional mistake of the hotel or it has always been like this. Apart from this episode, the other experiences are OK. The hotel is opposite the subway station, and there is a paid parking lot and a 24-hour supermarket next to it, which is convenient for travel.

After a long layover followed by a 15 hour flight causing us to come in late, it was a breath of fresh air to have such an amazing front desk staff check us in and give us all to information we needed to successfully make our trip easy. Because the plane was late, I arrived at the hotel at 1 o'clock in the middle of the night. The lady at the front desk helped me to check in very quickly. It was the speed of New York. It was a very nice classical style hotel! Personally, I even felt a sense of luxury like the Ritz-Carlton in Osaka. The location is within walking distance from Grand Central St, and you can get to Times Square by subway or taxi. The area around the hotel is very calm, similar to Nihonbashi and Kyobashi in Japan, and there are no shops like DELI or $1 Pizza. I think it's a location for adults. The hotel was amazing the location was also good. The only thing was I there was no room service with a 22month old rooms service is always a good shout. We required milk for the baby and the receptionist said we don’t do this service. The lifts were very tight and of course busy so with a stroller it was always a hit & miss when you can get into the lift. The cleaniness and staff were very pleasant and professional. I would recommend this hotel to other visitors and will stay here again.

The front desk service attitude is good. The guy at the door is enthusiastic and proactive. The location is good. The Metropolitan Museum is across Central Park. The most important thing to remind you is that the hotel is located in Harlem, which is said to be a black community. You can check the security situation in the area online. I love Arlo. I stay at Arlo pretty often. But this time was off. I came back to my room in the evening, they cleaned it, but they didn’t take out the trash from the terrace and it started the rain. And I didn’t have coffee capsules (pods) at all. I called to reception and girl was like oh do you have a coffee machine in your room I was like yes I do. And a guy came at 11pm and was cleaning the terrace.

Only cons is that room is super small. Came from another state in US therefore me and friend had 4 huge luggages. We could only open up one and even that, we had to utilize our bed as there’s no extra space to put it, the walking space alone is very little. Stayed for three nights, the general feeling is average. Location: The location is very good and very convenient. It is across the street from Central Station, where you can take the subway to almost any place in New York. There also seem to be buses to and from LaGuardia and JFK airports, but haven't tried them. There are many places to eat, and there is no problem filling up the stomach, but there does not seem to be a particularly good restaurant. Facilities: The hotel itself is very old, so the rooms are older. Although it is a room facing the street, the windows are too small and the light is always dim. The air conditioner in the room was too loud and had to be turned off while sleeping. Fortunately, I don't need air conditioning when I go. If it is summer, it is probably a big problem. Maybe it is an old relationship, the smell of the room is not very good, but fortunately, the windows can be opened a little bit for ventilation. Service: I have only dealt with the front desk and was very friendly at check-in. Overall, I think it is quite satisfactory, there is nothing to be picky about, and there is nothing outstanding. Breakfast is average, not included in the room rate, needs a la carte, not many choices, average taste. Compared to the price, I feel quite disappointed. However, this is the heart of New York, understand. Will not stay again.
