I heard that there was a shuttle bus just beyond the airport's exit 5, but I couldn't find it, and when I called the hotel, I was told that I would have to wait an hour. I had no choice but to take a taxi, which cost 40 euros for the flat rate. Even though it was only about 10 euros away, it was a huge loss, even though my English skills were poor. When I asked the hotel for more details, I was told that the shuttle leaves the airport every 0:00 and the hotel every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day! The hotel is located on a hill near the subway station, two stops before the airport. There is nothing around! The facility itself is clean and has slippers, so it is easy to use!

we missed our flight and had to stay for 1 more night in Athens hence we chanced upon this hotel/apartment and glad we did stay cuz it's all we needed after a whole day at the airport. there a kettle, microwave, condiments and even complimentary bottled water and breadsticks. I booked the room at 10pm for 3 adults 1 child and yet they managed to set up the 2 singles beds instead as advertised sofa bed. we are truly grateful for this place and will highly recommend it to all. even the price is affordable. its really clean and comfortable. Mr Thasos is very helpful and kind.

I temporarily lived here because the plane was cancelled, but the room was large and the overall equipment was good. I didn't know how to adjust the air conditioner. There was no food around. It was recommended to call Uber at the airport! It is about 10 to 15 drives away, the service is good, and the 24-hour phone is accepted.

We stayed in this apartment near the airport for the last 2 days. The room facilities are old. The bathroom kitchen is small and not suitable for children. When we checked in, the bath towels were all wet elk. There was no dryness. No one came to clean the room during the period. It is better to stay in a hotel next time!

I had no issues with the hotel room or service-itcwas very pleasant. The issue for me was the noise. Inside is like an old townhouse, where noise travels. there are also staff offices and seating areas in the corridor so there's a lot of door slamming, and chatting. Outside is a busy road, buskers and a fair bit of shouting going on, so it's not ideal for every kind of trip

The hotel is new, although it is a self-service apartment, there is also a front desk service on the first floor, modern decoration, password lock, TV, refrigerator, coffee machine, air conditioning, the key is to use it. We live in a quadruple room, in fact, there are two standard rooms, each with its own door, and there is also a public outing. Hotel location is good, see the Temple of Zeus, the front desk lady service is warm. We have a reasonable price upgrade to a large suite with a balcony with a kitchen sink and a separate hand washing bathroom. We bought a gift at the gift shop downstairs and also called the front desk into the room. The picture video was taken, but unfortunately transferred to the hard disk. We are two big and one small, the children live in the living room, the living room is very big. The layout is reasonable. Breakfast is delivered to the room, and the front desk downstairs is checked in advance.

The front desk and the cleaning aunt were very polite, but they seemed to lack some professionalism. The facilities that the hotel could provide were not clearly stated. Every time they needed to go to the front desk to ask. The room is large, but there are beds, wardrobes, TVs and TV cabinets, tables and chairs. It feels suitable to sleep overnight, but if it is a travel room, it is a little inconvenient, and it is not convenient to want to heat things. There is no hot water bottle. The decoration is still possible, and the bathroom has unlimited hot water. The front desk did not take the initiative to remind us of the breakfast time and place, resulting in us staying for four days without breakfast. Maybe I am used to the hotel taking the initiative to remind guests of the meal. This time, no one told us, resulting in us looking at the bill to find that our consumption included breakfast. We had a great stay at this hotel. Our room had a balcony and was nice and clean. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the main attractions. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the blinds didn't completely block out the sun.

Great location, room is small but it got everything we need, staffs are very helpful, helped me with phone charger plug, last day they let us eat breakfast before the official opening hour because we had to leaves at 7am for the ferry. It’s one block away from the sightseeing bus stop, I mean if going to the Acropolis is your main goal, this hotel is a good choice, it is close to Prakka area and many restaurants in walking distance, 5-10 min walk to the entrance of the Acropolis And the museum. It has some road noise but it is in the city, we only stay 3 nights there, I didn’t feel like taking a taxi or Uber or metro train, we like the location of this hotel a lot. Would recommend to our friends.

Reception was very friendly during check-in and staff for breakfast was very nice. The facilities were alright for us. I'm not sure if it was just our room or the entire building but there was this constant ”smoke” smell during our stay that was very difficult to ignore in our room. They did offer us to change a room but after walking around the floor and lobby, might of been just a smell that was throughout the building. There was a used orange drink in our fridge which could of been easily missed by the maids but was a little concerning what else might of been missed. Again all minor issues that would not stop me from staying there again if needed.

A new hotel in the heart of Kolonaki, Athens' well-to-do district, the Modernist is a great blend of amenities and service. The hotel opened the week I visited and I expected there to be a few kinks to work out, but there were none! Service is wonderful, staff proactively asked what we needed, from carafes of sparkling water that they brought to the room on request any time of day, to laundry and other things. They also were very keen to know how they were doing, considering they were new. Breakfast is delightful, with a a creative mix of traditional Greek things and other international food. COVID setup is hygienic and efficient. We had a large room, which is not particularly large but has spectacular balconies overlooking the park across the street and with views of Lycabettus Hill. Windows are isolated and do a good job of keeping out the Athenian noise. Finally, the upstairs roof deck is a real delight, quiet, private, with a fantastic view of the Acropolis, and with a telephone to order drinks from downstairs. It's like being at the Hilton Bar across the street, but not paying 20 euros for cocktails. All told, a great start and a wonderful find, I wish the staff all the best of luck!

The location is very close to a main square and many streets lined with restaurants, also walkable to important sites. The location also provides a nice view from the rooftop bar (see the photo). The location is great! I marked the it low because being so central and close to all the main restaurants and bars also meant that there were extremely loud drunk people yelling in the street all night long. Bring your ear plugs or find somewhere that’s slightly farther away from the main drag. Clean and tidy, somewhat comfortable, there are lockers in the room if you bring your own lock. If you plan to drop off your bag before check in or leave it after, there are storage lockers for a fee that are somewhat confusing to operate. The front desk attendant assisted me.

The Trendy hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from Omonia square and metro station. The area would raise some concerns though and I would recommend staying there as a solo female traveler. The hotel itself was well maintained. Rooms were clean and spacious. They provide you with all necessities and even have a Nespresso- coffee machine with new capsules everyday. The views from the rooms aren’t great but seeing your in Athens and exploring all day it wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was delicious and well prepared. Overall, our stay at the Trendy hotel was enjoyable.

Everything was just wonderful. We were met at the entrance to the apartments and everyone was told in detail about the apartments 👍🏻 The room was very clean and with a comfortable balcony on which we had breakfast. The towels change every day. The apartments have everything necessary for comfortable accommodation. The location is good. The metro station and grocery stores are not far away. Very clean, close to the station, friendly staff Unfortunately, the Russians in the next few rooms were making a lot of noise until midnight, walking back and forth from room to room, which made me feel sick. The sound when the door opened and closed was also extremely loud. Is it unavoidable because the population level is low?
