I don't like having to walk so far with heart problems just to leave because there's only one way in or out. Plus being locked in can be a bit overwhelming. I walked out thru the exit next to my room and all the gates were locked to leave and come in. I can understand entry at night but not being able to leave was frustrating unless i walked all the way around to the front. Felt like jail . and smell was terrible near elevators and hallways. Musty. Besides being stereotyped the service was great.

Truly a walking neighborhood. Only 8 miles to the beaches and the restaurants of beautiful Anna Maria Island. Rent a boat and add a whole new dimension to your Orchid House experience. Enjoy the private hot tub in the beautiful and peaceful back yard complete with bar, grill, sitting area with comfortable couches and a fire pit. Or relax or dine on the huge front porch Two fireplaces with electric logs are available for the few cool days we experience in Bradenton. There are tvs in the living room and both bedrooms. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with everything you might need to prepare meals. Orchid House was built in 1914 by the Beall's Store family. It was totally renovated from top to bottom and was completed in 12/2021. It was first listed with Vrbo in 12/2021. Orchid House offers the option of a private chef, fishing captain, private boat and provisioning for those who are interested. This hotel is always has friendly and helpful staff. Very clean from my experience and they are in the best location if you’re a local. If you’re here for the beach, probably not where you wanna be. This place goes above and beyond to make the guest comfortable. The breakfast isn’t bad either. They have a nice variety although the same variety day in and day out. I will stay here again for sure.

What can I say about this place, hot water is amazing first of all in my opinion. Secound the television show channels were endless. THIRD the microwave cooks at fanatically. FOUTH the people sitting outside drinking and burning heaters are sometimes really friendly....sometimes not then u have to go inside and hope they don't **** your vehicle up. ALL in all was a great experience in life to might with different folks.

Very cozy hotel! The Iped was lost in the parking lot and was picked up by the staff. Since it was set in Chinese, there was no way to contact me, so I charged it and waited for us to go back to find it. Very touched!

Super 8 was clean and comfortable but on entering the room it was set up to kill my girl. We came in late and there was no light available when turning on the door switch next to the door. My angel stepped into the room hands full and due to the lack of light immediately fell over a badly placed coffee table where she proceeded to fall with hands full over the table badly bruising her chin not once or twice but three times and was in extreme pain. Nice room but please consider the customers and their safety next time you place a coffee table inside a door and in the immediate walk way.

A decent place close to anna Maria island like 10mins drive . Breakfast is really good . Overall good but the price is steep. Rooms are too small and windows too thin , you can hear outside traffic noise. Not worth for the price you are paying. Not enough rooms facing the water . No proper shower room at the pool if you decide to enjoy it while you checkin at 4pm or you checkout late . Limited space to loiter till checkin. Hotel and bar food is good but pricey.
