Locked in the free parking conditions, found this hotel not far from the core check-in point, and finally drove from Trinity College. The navigation showed that it only took more than 10 minutes, which was very convenient. The overall conditions of the hotel are good, and the service is quasi-four-star. The last night in Dublin put a perfect end to the trip to Ireland.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Aberdeen Lodge. The location is great with a short bus ride into town or you can catch the train with the station also close by. The owner was very welcoming and all the staff were superb. My daughter has recently moved to Dublin so we are happy we have found somewhere which meets our requirements.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Premier Suites Ballsbridge, and it was an outstanding experience. The location is ideal, situated in the charming and upscale Ballsbridge area, offering easy access to Dublin's city centre and various attractions. The suite itself was impeccably clean, spacious, and well-appointed with modern amenities that made my stay extremely comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. The fully equipped kitchen in the suite was a fantastic feature, allowing for convenient self-catering. Additionally, the surrounding area is filled with delightful cafes, restaurants, and shops, making it a perfect base for exploring Dublin. Overall, Premier Suites Ballsbridge exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and convenient stay in Dublin.

This hotel is the best hotel in Dublin. It is said that the Prime Minister also stayed in this hotel when he visited Ireland. The environment of the hotel is very good, and the lobby is decorated in a grand manner. The bedding in the room is very comfortable, and the bathroom is not big but very convenient, comfortable and clean. The lighting is not very glaring, and the hair dryer is not in the bathroom. There is a mirror in front of the desk in the room, so you can sit in front of the desk and blow your hair in front of the mirror, which is quite user-friendly. It is surrounded by the embassy district of Dublin, which is safe and quiet. It is a hotel worth staying in.

I liked the room and the staff were generally friendly. But the television in the room did not work, the bathtub was clogged and whenever we took a shower we were left with water up to a little above the ankle. After taking a shower, the bathtub was all dirty with the dirt that had gone up with the water through the drain because it was clogged. And finally, an employee did not want to heat the soup for my 1 year old son who does not eat all the food.

Excellent hotel, great service and only 5 minutes walk to Landsdowne station that you can reach city centre within 15 minutes. The room is very nice and you can enjoy free coffee and tea, playing board game in the evening. The honourable system for whiskey bar is bdonus and the complimentary breakfast is very delicious. One thing I have to mention is that no air conditioning for the room but it's not bothering me in Dublin's weather.

A beautiful Dublin townhouse in leafy Ballsbridge. Only a 2 minute walk to Landsdowne road to the Aviva Stadium and the Dart rail service. A 5 minute walk both ways to some lovely restaurants, cafes and bars so an ideal location. I stayed here because I had a Visa appointment at the US embassy which is also only a 5 minute stroll from the hotel door. The room was clean and very spacious, high ceilings and large windows. Microwave and fridge in the lounge which came in very handy as we had brought our own breakfast. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Only negative was one of the curtains in the bedroom seemed to have come off its rail and was half hanging down and could not be fixed because the window was too high!! However it just about covered the window to block the street lights so no big deal. Just to note, check out is 10am which is earlier than other hotels and the cleaners were knocking on the door at 9.55 so it's pretty much on the dot!!

Self-check-in, it is best to ask Trip.com in advance to open the door password. It is quite far from the city center, 25 minutes walk, in the residential area, but there is a bus stop at the entrance of the hotel, travel is convenient. The room is newly decorated and very bright. It is a common problem in the homestay. The table is small and it is inconvenient to use a computer. The bathroom is crowded.

Located in the Georgian area of Dublin - you’re away from the hustle and bustle but an easy walk into the centre. Check in was easy as was check out - I’ve nothing but good things to say about all the staff here who were friendly and helpful. The room was small but quiet and clean. Bedding was comfortable. Tea and coffee was available 24/7 in the lobby which was great. Searsons is just down the road for a bevvy or something to eat - as is Bobbys wine bar and other coffee shops and food places. Would definitely stay here again when in Dublin.

I was impresssed by the friendly welcome I was given at reception. Although I knew I couldn't book in till 2pm, I went early in the hope of them looking after my case. Not only do they do this for no extra charge but I was allowed into my room at 11.30am as it had been vacated. The hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing as Christchurch and St Patrick's Cathedral are within 5 mins' walk and Dublin Castle and the Esther Beatty exhibition, which is not to be missed, is just round the corner. The room facilities were excellent with air conditioning unit, fridge, safe, coffee and tea making equipment, an iron and hairdryer and of course constant hot water for a shower. Downstairs there was a restaurant and bar available with music in the evening, which stopped at a reasonable time. Breakfast was also served in the morning, simple but enough. It was well worth the price charged simply because of its location.

We spent a comfortable 3 nights here. The rooms are not large but adequate for a short stay. Toilet/shower modern fittings and good. We enjoyed the Nespresso machine for a morning coffee in the room. The hotel decor is vibrant, modern and ”full” but I liked it. The decor in the bar and dining area is modern and bold. The staff were especially welcoming and helpful. The location is a bit out of town, so quieter with a local-feel.

Last time I stayed here ( about 6 years ago?) room was dirty so have not been back again until three weeks ago. Location is superb right at the edge of Temple bar along the River Liffey -downside its a party area so like most Hotels in this area dont plan to sleep until late as lots of noise from bars etc. Room was lovely with lots of nice touches -only big issues I had was in 12c Dublin coming from 32c Jakarta and central heating did not work-you have to call reception to get it switched on then it cuts off every hour and does not work again until you call reception-totally unacceptable for a 5 star Hotel . Ended calling them five times so not much sleep!! It was a Tuesday night so looked like one of the bars in the Hotel was shut-but lots outside anyhow. Did not have breakfast as last time I did was served-took ages and was cold-judging by recent reviews on tripadvisor looks like this still. Reception on check in and out would not win any prizes for their hospitality and were just ok-could learn from The Morrison across the river where I stayed a few nights earlier -genuine hospitality. Would I stay there again -NO -leave it to Bono and the locals -heat is a basic requirement as is hospitality-better Hotels for the same or less money to be had in Dublin City.

I have stayed at 4 or 5 hotels in my various trips to Ireland. I even stayed at a 5 star resort the last time I traveled here and I will say hands down the room at the Alex was by far the nicest room I have stayed in. It's not directly in the town center but it's just a 10 min walk away and one I didn't mind based on the quality of the room. My only wish was that it had a pool. There is a work out facility across the street that I never checked out so one might have been there. If I ever go back to Dublin I would definitely stay here again. They have a couple of restaurants near by both places were excellent one served the best fish in chips that I have ever had the other had a great Guinness beef pie.

He said that if you want an air-conditioned room, you can book another room next time. He can give me a fan. I am really speechless. The location is right in the heart of the city, good for people who like clubbing. Heard that Temple bar area could be problematic at late night, but it was never a problem as we returned by 10pm. Many shops and good eateries within 5 min walk. The sightseeing spots are mostly readily accessible on foot. Hotel staff were friendly and polite. Rooms are clean and towels looks new white. Walls are thick enough for sound proof, even not aware of one flushing in toilet in early morning. Our room faced the internal opening i.e. no view but not noisy. The only shortcoming is no fridge. Highly recommended.

But the overall experience was ruined because of the next morning. Really wanted to stay here again but will be reconsidering due to this terrible service experience. A brilliant hotel perfectly located within Dublin. Next to trinity college, this hotel is a stones throw from all the tourist hotspots but equally the location is lovely and quiet, especially at night. The hotel has been recently renovated to a high standard. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are well equipped. The service by the staff was top notch and the exclusive parking around the corner on a private, gated carpark for €15 per night was an added bonus. The breakfast was really tasty, a great selection of cooked and cold food to choose from and the coffee was also equally as good. This really is an absolute gem of a hotel. We were given such a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated. Our room was a standard room but the furnishings and complementary goods gave it a luxury feel. The bed was super comfortable with soft linens and huge fluffy pillows. The hotel had thought of everything including umbrellas to borrow for the typical Irish weather. We were able to easily walk into the heart of Temple Bar. I recently stayed at the Camden Court Hotel in Dublin 2 and had a very pleasant experience. The location is unbeatable—right on Camden Street, which made it easy to walk to places like St. Stephen's Green, Grafton Street, and Trinity College. The Luas tram was also nearby, so getting around the city was very convenient. The hotel itself was modern and clean. My room was spacious, well-kept, and had everything I needed: fast Wi-Fi, a good-sized desk, a comfortable bed, and tea/coffee facilities. One of the highlights for me was the leisure centre—having access to a heated pool, sauna, and steam room was a real treat after long days of walking. Staff were friendly, professional, and happy to help with local recommendations. Breakfast was varied with hot and cold options, and I appreciated the availability of gluten-free choices. If there’s anything to note, it’s that rooms facing the street can get a bit noisy at night, so I’d recommend requesting a quieter room if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, it’s a great choice for business or leisure travellers looking for comfort and convenience in central Dublin.

Very good experience. The lady boss is very nice. She waited for me at the front desk until 10pm when my flight was delayed, and upgraded my room for free! It was already very good to be able to stay in a single room that is not a living room or a youth hostel at this price. After the upgrade, it was a large room with a double bed, a single bed, and a private bathroom. The decoration is very beautiful, with white, dark green and wood tones. Good location if you're looking to stay near the airport, but I honestly wish we had spent another night in the small Mourneview B&B near Carlingford and made the drive into DUB. This hotel is huge and packed with people. The receptionist was kind, but the line up is long and once you finally find parking, you're fed up waiting. There is air conditioning in the lobby, but not in the hotel rooms. Felt like an oven as soon as you walk to the elevator and the night was long as the room was warm, so we opened the windows and then we had the noise of the busy motorway outside. The room was okay, but then we found gum stuck under the table. The breakfast was the best part, the buffet has many options to choose from.

I decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked. Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance. The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre. Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well. Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home. The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want. Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!
